Dr. Ritu M Saini, MD

Hopefully, you read this BEFORE making an appointment. Do yourself a huge favor and choose literally any other dermatologist in the city. This office is not there to help, they only want your money. You’ll be able to book appointments, be seen by a doctor, and then be billed. If you have any questions regarding your visit, insurance, prescriptions, or even your health, good luck! You’ll get someone convincingly saying “They will call you back,” but NEVER do. I was charged for an extra visit unnecessarily due to a mistake they made, and couldn't find anyone willing to help.  Nobody at the office would listen or return my calls. I finally had to resort to recording a doctor admitting I shouldn't be billed a second time, and then threatened to sue before they reluctantly fixed the issue.  The office manager Rachel is utterly incompetent, I would have had better luck calling a random phone number to get help. Sadly, the manager is not the only person I had a problem with, as Doctor Saini did not seem to care whatsoever! Any positive reviews you read are either fake or from patients lucky enough to avoid interactions with the office staff beyond the booking process. Just go somewhere else! 

I was very impressed with the staff and with Dr. Saini.She was friendly, well versed and gave me the correct medications to meet my issues. Am very glad that I left my old Dermatologist behind.

So I didn’t like Dr. Saini. She saw me almost an hour after my appointment time and then had three ppl in the room w her and they talked about me like I was a lab subject in the 3rd person. They even talked over me several times when I spoke up to correct them - they kept getting my history wrong and the reason I was there wrong; it was like they were confusing me with another patient. I felt dehumanised. She also said my eczema wasn't eczema and was just a shaving rash (I don’t shave and it’s on my arms - who shaves their arms??) and that’s just weird. She didn’t use a dermascope at all and said nothing concerned her about a spot another derm had been concerned about and referred me to her for a 2nd opinion. I asked her to do a little scraping just to make sure and she declined. It was so disheartening.

I am a physician who needed a lesion inspected on my back. I found this doctor off the Fidelis directory. Once in her office, her staff first tried to charge me prior to the visit using a credit card and prior to submitting the claim to my insurance first. Being a physician and also Fidelis medical provider, this practice is illegal and breeches the contractual agreement of the doctor with the insurance company. Once I refused to pay cash upfront, they had me escorted to a filthy room, where the doctor herself met me and insisted that she is a small practice and she can not wait to have the claims submitted to insurance. A complaint for insurance fraud has already been filed with department of health and Insurance department and shes currently under investigation. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this charlatan disguised as a doctor by all means. Extremely rude staff, filthy office and a horrible physician to top it.

Dr Ritu Saini is one of the kindest and knowledgeable Doctors I have had the pleasure of visiting. Her pleasant disposition combined with her experience in this field makes the Doctor / patient experience a pleasant one. I have visited her office in Rockaway Queens and she has more than exceeded my expectations and has resolved my personal issues with care and kindness. I would highly recommend her and her staff.

had Moh's surgery on my left shoulder, which took over 3 hours, the area never healed, tried to make appointment to see Dr. Saini but she was always out, finally got appointment an d I thought Iwas seeing a Docor

Nightmare!!!!!!! That's being nice. Dug a huge whole in face. Then could not fix in the office. Had truck into specialist in NYC them to another doctor. Exhausting. My father 85 yr old cardiac patient and she never took that into consideration before she started. Then left her mess for us to clean up. BEWARE!!!!!!! DO NOT GO

Dr. Saini , is the best Dermatologist I very went to, she listen to my problems, she never force any products on me, she was kind and gentle. their were no long wait time, i was in and out in no time. i feel great and because of Dr. Saini i have a much greater out look for my skin.

Front office staff rude, especially the younger girl with dark hair. Used to be nicer but now that they've been at this location for a while appears the niceness went out the window. be sure to question all charges they quote to you as they're really unorganized. Time to move onto another derm.

One of the best things about this office was her original staff, when Iris was there. The new lady is rude and unfriendly (elderly one who answers the phone).Dr. Saini is sweet.

I went to Dr. Saini for mohs surgery of a basal cell cancer on my cheek. I was very concerned and anxious about the procedure. The whole experience was surprisingly pleasant and she did a great job - it has healed very well and is barely noticeable!

I read the recommendation on this site to decide on visiting her, however i am extremely disappointed with her, she spent some 10 minutes with me with no clear diagnosis of the main issues,asked me to wipe my face in reference to acne and the next thing i know is i have been charged 100s of dollars for some acne surgerey?how wierd is that, i never went there for acne surgery procedure!!so at the end of it my main issues remain unresolved and i get charged for a unasked for blackhead removal i could have got done in a salon!!

I found Dr. Saini's name in the list of doctors that accept my insurance. I was really glad I pick Dr. Saini from all the other Doctors out there. She took the time to answer all my questions and put my mind at ease. I will definitely be returning again and again.

I went to Dr. Saini for a general body scan, as a friend has been using her for several years, and spoke highly of her. She and her nurse, Iris, gave me a thorough scan, asked questions regarding tanning and sun exposure, and were generally very pleasant and accomodating. Dr. Saini also answered any questions I had regarding the cost of some cosmetic procedures - ie: fillers under the eyes, or for facial lines. Iris suggested that I come each year for a body scan, just to keep an eye on moles, which I consider very important. I will continue to use Dr. Saini, because she's studied with the best - Dr. Robins - and his influence is well-reflected in her expertise. A fine doctor that I would highly recommend.

Thank you Dr. Saini for taking the time to help with with my cosmetic issues. Everyone noticed the subtle changes that botox brought, but it was not over the top.

Dr. Saini was very thorough- I have had really sensitive skin and acne for a long time and after putting me on a regimen and reviewing the products I used, my skin began to clear up within a few weeks!
