Extremely happy with my result. He took time to show me my mri pictures and why I was in pain and why the injections did not help. The surgery was outpatient and I am back to work and grateful.

First doctors visit in my whole life that the doctor was on time. Went to Dr. Blok as a second opinion because my neighbors Mom recommended him. He showed me my mri pictures and offered non surgery options for my pain. Impressed! Seen another doctor in Louisville who recommended surgery and did not show me my mri or explain why I hurt. That other doctor was in and out of the room in under 5 minutes.

Impressed with the doc and staff. He was on time and was not rushed.

Dr. Blok and Dr. Silva both took care of me. Explained my mri to me and how surgery would work. I had pt and injections with no relief. I could not work. I am back to working because of them! and enjoying my life.

He was able to refer me to Dr. K for an injection that took away my pain. Another spine doc wanted to put screws in Ky back. He also showed my mri which no one else took the time.

First doctors appointment I have every been to in my 60 years of seeing docs. He came in 2 minutes before my scheduled time, was not in a hurry, and showed my the actual mri pictures. Came up with a non surgical plan that worked. I saw him as a second opinion. The first doctor wanted to do surgery, did not show me my mri and did a 30 second exam. Highly recommend him.

Was not sure if minimally invasive spine surgery would help my problem. Other surgeons said my back was to far gone. Dr. Block listened to were I hurt and said surgery would not help all my back pain but the area that was pinched to bad. He did surgery and I went home the same day. All I wanted to do was to be able to shop at the walmart not having to stop all the time. I can do that now.

Injured my lumbar spine after an IED incident in Iraq. Had numerous epidurals with the army pain physicians and then the VA once I retired. Dr. Blok was the first physician to review my imaging with me and took time to explain to me what my issue was. He then was able to address my lumbar issues surgically and am grateful I was sent to him in consultation. I have been able to return to running which I could not do since the injury. Thank you SIR!!!

I have no pain now. Was sent for pain injections and therapy which were a waste of time. He did a surgery on my back and now no pain.

Great bedside manner and surgeon

Had a pinched nerve and he I pinched the spur. Shots only helped for a short amount of time. The surgery took it all away.

He did a back surgery and unpinched my L5-S1. Another Surgeon wanted to perform a fusion and told me I would not be able to surf anymore. He is a Honest surgeon which is rare in todays world

he did my surgery in Oklahoma. Glad I did it. Have been able to tend my crops, etc. Road tested it this past year and I am good to go.

He gave me my life back 4 years ago. This is the anniversary of my surgery date. Thank you

He fixed my back thru a small incision less than an inch. Had no idea that could be done but he did it. Walked out of the hospital same day.

Did not know what minimally invasive spine surgery was. Had no idea he had been doing this here in Louisville for over 15 years. Would have never had my open back surgery 10 years ago if i knew he was in town. He did another level and i walked out of the hospital and returned to work in 4 weeks. the other surgery i was in the hospital for 3 days and did not return to work for 3 months.

Dr. Blok performed surgery on my back and I was able to return driving a forklift in 4 weeks with no pain. The other surgeons recommended I get disability. Thank you Dr. Blok
