Stay away from the nurse practitioner

Because, in my opinion, I refused invasive procedures to control back pain, which had been responding quite well to minimal medication, I was relegated to the status of 'persona non grata' and was told there was nothing else to be done and dismissed without any alleviation of intense pain.

Dr. Iadevaio was thorough & took the time to explain his course of treatment & why. Further, my surgeon did NOT provide accurate reports needed by Dr. I, so Dr. I called my Ortho and had the proper reports faxed to him right there and then. A definite professional.

He puts money first and patient care takes a backseat. Do yourself a favor and choose another physician.

Dr Iadevaio is a down to earth doctor, totally unpretentious, who listens to what you say, explains the problem and the procedure. I've had many lumbar epidural injections over the years and he's been a pleasure to have as a doctor and good at his profession.

I was unable to walk for 2 months. After 2 epidural treatments, I feel like a new person...better than I've felt in years!!! I'm going to hug him when I see him next!!

He's patient at first but is into pushing the latest seratonin drugs -which have poor efficacy in studies and crazy side effects of increased heart rate, blood pressure, anxiety (even suicidal thoughts)- i didn't do well on it -VERY EXPENSIVE,TOO, but he either didn't believe me or was annoyed, rolled his eyes-like whatever. He is ever so happy to give epidurals, though.

I felt comfortable talking with this doctor. He answered all my questions and I never felt rushed.

while lifting a pt @ work, i started to have excruitiating back as well as pain with radiation down both legs L 1st then R, i followed up with ortho, but they both stated that i just needed rest and pt, but that also did'nt work. so i had made an appt, had several epidurals, but nothing worked, i even went to a neuro md for surical evaluation, but sugery was'nt needed @ this tie so my husband did some seach and fond out about the medtronics neuro stimulator which both md's reed on this made myself and my husband very happy. dr.iadevaio put in all the paperwork and the procedure and workman's comp ok'd it,i 1st had a 5 day trial that worked and returned to dr.i took the wires out. the next step was an implantation of this nerve stimulator. after the surgery, and the programming of the device my pain decreased 50%.i owe the success to dr. i and would greatlyreccomend him....
