Dr. Robert Nathan Israel, MD

Dr Israel is the best. He is kind ,caring and very helpful. He listens and does his best to help me, I have a lot of rare genetic problems and he may not understand them all but has been willing to learn about them for me. Very helpful. I get calls back from him. Only dr I know of who calls you in person still. Appts are on time and yet not rushed once hes in the room. Clean office alway decorated for the season.

I drive 70 miles just to see him. Sometimes difficult getting a response back from message system, but I always call back. Worth the added time. Great doctor, understanding, listens, and discusses options with you.

Great family doctor. Listens and calls you with results.

This Doctor has spent more time with me than any other. He even talks to me on the phone.

Dr. Israel treat more in a holistic way and I have found that to be amazingly affective. Also Dr. Israel kept me from having to go to a chiropractor since he was able to adjust my back in his office and it worked..

Dr. Israel was my family doctor for over 10 years growing up. I moved away after college and moved back to MI recently and have yet to find a doctor who compares. I'm considering driving from Lansing to Jackson to begin seeing Dr. Israel again.

He calls you at home to follow up and checks up on you. I've been to other drs in the past that don't listen tI you and they always turn their back on you. He doesn't sterotype patients. Staff is friendly.

Dr. Israel is the easiest doctor I ever had to talk to. Compared to other doctors, the wait time is above average for promptness, very little wait time. He has called me at home if the office staff could not answer a question. The only problem is I do not always get someone to talk on the first try when I call in.

New to the area, called office for 4 month appointment for our son and left voice mail with call back number. After a week and a half no one called. I thought maybe they heard my number wrong. I called again and this time spoke with some one in the office. This time she took all of my information and then informed me that she had a long list of people to call back for appointments before she could give me one. This made me unsure I wanted to see Dr Israel. Now that it's been a week and she still hasn't called to give me that appt, I thought it important to write a review to warn others.

The staff was pretty rude telling me why dont i go back to my old dr cuz i told them i was in pain due to my fibromyalgia. Then dr israel wouldnt listen to my concerns. All he kept saying was i lying about my pain and was rude to me. I didnt appreciate him and his staff doing that.i told him my chest hurt and he said its just heartburn thena day latter i had a heart attack. I would never go back to him.

This was my husband's family Dr, so we used them as well with our own family. Have yet to be able to find any Dr that comes close to Dr Israel and his staff. :-(

Caring and a good listener. He gives the time you need, not having one foot out the door as many do. He will be timely and available. Able to think outside the usual box. His staff have seemed under experienced at times, but things get done.

I was familiar with homeopathy and was looking for a doctor. I am very pleased with the care and attention from Dr. Israel and his staff. He is compassionate and understanding and never judgemental.
