After having a horrible experience with my previous endocrinologist, so happy I switched to Dr. Ortiz. Very supportive, he works with me to achieve my goals.

Dr. Ortiz is extremely thorough physician. He listens to his patients, puts together a plan for their health care , then acts upon it. His knowledge makes a patient feel secure knowing they are in trusted hands. Office staff is marvelous. and courteous. I highly recommend Dr. Robert Ortiz to all.

Doctor Ortiz is an excellent diagnostician and a compassionate person. He listens carefully and answers concerns without putting the patient down.

I am a prior patient of Dr. Ortiz...I saw him several years ago for a hyperactive thyroid. Dr. Ortiz is a fantastic doctor and always made me feel comfortable. I'm very displeased with the office staff responsible for making appointments for Dr. Ortiz. I left a total of 4 messages with Michelle (his secretary) and told her my doctor wanted me to get in to see an endo right away because my thyroid was suppressed. She NEVER returned one of my calls. I think that is very unprofessional and I have since found another endocrinologist to go to. I'm very disappointed at her lack of doing her job correctly. I can see one message getting overlooked, but 4. Unacceptable.

World of difference between Dr. Ortiz and the last doctor I went to! Dr. Ortiz explains things about my condition and meds and listens to my concerns. He answers my questions professionally and is far from abrupt or rude like the last doctor I saw. I felt like a new person when I left after my first appointment, because I felt that he cares and will help me.

Dr.Ortiz is friendly and informative. He listened to my fears and concerns on diabetes. He examines me and prescribed medication and diet to manage my diabetes. He also offered reading material to increase my knowledge of my disease and how I can manage it. I feel secure having Dr. Ortiz as my doctor. He seems up to date on this disease and shares his knowledge.

Dr Ortiz is curteous and professional. He's a caring man. Wish there were more like him.
