I have been pleased so far with my care I am getting from Dr Brown and his team.

I was pleasantly surprised with my visit with Dr Brown. My mother died from horrible hepatic care so I know what good care is as a result of her death. I saw another hepatologist a few months back that was dismissive and left a lot of unanswered questions. Dr Brown and his team were wonderful and I feel confident that I will get the care I need there.

I have been under the care of Dr. Brown since 2003 and am continually impressed by his expertise in the field of liver health. His thorough, patient, and warm demeanor consistently makes me feel at ease and confident in the care I receive. With every visit, I am reassured about my current health status. Dr. Brown's partnership with Weill Cornell Medicine is a fantastic development, as the office layout clearly reflects a focus on patient-centered care. The convenience of having all necessary tests within the same building greatly enhances my overall experience. The streamlined app check-in process also contributes to an efficient and pleasant visit with Dr. Brown. It is truly inspiring to see Dr. Brown mentor fellows who shadow his practice, ensuring that his exceptional standard of patient care will be passed on to future generations of gastroenterologist.

About Dr. Brown. I have been his patient for over 21 years. All I can say about him is nothing but great things. He is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, professional and caring. Dr Brown has been great. I have been with him for a year and I he has brought my numbers under control. I would definitely recommend him.

Hands down the best GI doctor in the country. His attention to his patient is unlike any other. Always there and has answers for you. His bedside manner is unmatched. I have had a history of liver disease my whole life and he has made my life significantly better.

He paid more attention on his phone messages than checking on me since walking into the room. He insisted in giving me an ultrasound order which was never did.

Dr. Brown shows no compassion for his patients and does not return phone calls... especially during covid! Writes a prescription with no follow up from him or his staff! Stay away from this Dr.

After reading the review by “Disappointed” I literally cried and will not make an appointment. I wanted to offer my condolences to this woman. She was lucky to have had such a wonderful husband. Don’t waste your time thinking about this horrible human being.

Dr. Brown is rude, condescending and seems like he could care less about the patient. I waited for months to see him and it was a total waste of time. He has absolutely no bedside manners and I don't trust his judgment as a doctor. Never going back.

Possibly the best hepatologist in the world. He is knowlegeable to the nth degree, astute, and totally competent in every way. Anyone would be extremely fortunate to have him on his/her team.

Simply put...in the best hands.

I waited for one month to get an appointment. Finally I was to meet him at Ridgewood NJ. I waited for another hour in the waiting room. Someone started listening to me and examining me. I did not understand who this person was. I thought she was either nurse or assistant. At some point she said by the way this is Dr. Brown do you want to say hi. He stepped in the room still texing on his phone not even looking at me. Said hi and left. I was so confused did not even know what to say. Person who was examining me was Dr Damaris, she was very nice. I still see Dr Damaris. I just did not know why I waited one month for him and why Dr Damaris was seeing me. He is rude. He thinks he will never ever be sick or die

Dr. Brown was my husbands physician after his original Dr. left the NYP transplant program. From the beginning I found him to be unfriendly, condescending and just plain rude. When we were getting to the end of life for my husband after Hep C reinfection of his transplanted liver, Dr. Brown never even physically examined my husband when he came in the room. He would sit look at his labs, never giving a clear sequence of what was happening to him. Near the end I had to call his office and beg to get help for him. Dr. Brown never even had the courtesy to contact me when my husband finally was in the hospital dying. After I contacted him via email to inquire what was happening to my husband he wrote me he was aware of my husbands condition and was available to answer my questions then. I expected much more from a fellow human being than that, My husband was a kind man, a great father and a loving son. He died a horrible death with a careless physician and staff. 3 years have passed and not a day goes by that I don't think of how he was treated by Dr. Brown and his staff. Shame on you.
