Dr. Robert Glenn Starr, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Starr regularly for over a year. He is an outstanding professional. His qualifications led me to him, but the kind and caring relationship that built such a level of trust has me raving about him. He treats all his patients this way and keeps meticulous notes to track my eyes. His front office is very helpful as well. It is without reservation that I most highly recommend Dr. Starr. Easy to give a 5 star rating.

Dr. Starr did LASIK surgery on my eyes and was so careful and professional and had great patience. My vision is perfect and I love how vivid the colors are on my daily walks and hikes. I am so happy I chose Dr. Starr!

Dr. Robert Starr is the best eye doctor! I work in a wood shop and I had blurry vision, pain, redness, light sensitivity, and swelling in both eyes. Dr. Robert Starr is the best ophthalmologist and he saved my eye! I was grinding metal at work this morning and a piece hit me in my left eye. I was in agony, my eye was red, and I could not see. A friend referred me to Dr. Starr and he helped me call his office. Dr. Starr came on the phone himself and told me to come right in. I have never heard of a doctor who would do this. What an amazing doctor! Dr. Starr removed a piece of metal from my eye and now I can see! I am going to send all of my friends and my family to Dr. Starr and am forever grateful to him.

Starr did my LASIK surgery over 15 yrs ago and I continue to have 20/15. My family and I have been going to him since then. He's very respectful, listens to your issues, and takes his time with you. He's very thorough with his exam and always treats you like VIP. When my son was in the police academy and scratched his cornea and had pepper sprayed in his eyes, Dr. Starr treated him everyday (even on the weekend) and saved his vision! As a nurse, I feel safe knowing my eyes and my family's eyes are in great hands with Dr. Starr.

I recently met w Dr Bob and we reviewed my two past lasik procedures one in ‘99 and the other in 2014 (not by Dr Bob) After meeting it was both of our decisions not to proceed w one more additional procedure. I respect his decision and ultimately saving me from not spending more money.

He started treating me immediately with laser surgery and glaucoma medication which drastically reduced the pressure in my eyes and saved me from going blind! I just had my five year check up with Dr. Starr after my LASIK Eye Surgery and I'm really pleased to know that my vision is still better than 20/20. Thank goodness that Dr. Starr uses the most advanced lasers and technology, because I wore thick glasses and my prescription was extremely difficult to treat. Since Dr. Starr did my LASIK, it's been an amazing joy adapting to life without wearing glasses. It's made all the difference in the world, in everything I do: work (I'm a handyman and before LASIK I needed glasses for everything - distance and reading- now, I don't need them at all), sports, just everyday life, most people think I look younger too. My 81 year old mom had an extreme headache coupled with vomiting emergency and the loss of the vision of her right eye; so, the Hospital ER referred us to Dr. Starr. Dr. Starr immediately diagnosed her as having Acute Glaucoma. Her eye had so much pressure that it caused her blindness, vomiting and headache. We thought she may not be able to recover and may be permanently blind. Dr. Starr worked quickly, gave her medication to lower the pressure in preparation for laser surgery and Saved My Mom's Eye!!! Dr. Starr is also an exceptionally friendly doctor and we always feel that he is looking out for us. I ended up referring myself as well as my other family members to Dr. Starr to check for Glaucoma and other eye issues!

I recently had Lasik surgery performed by Dr. Starr and the results have greatly exceeded my expectations. My distance vision had deteriorated in recent years and I wanted it restored for golf and my other outdoor activities and was willing to continue to wear reading glasses. Not only is my distance vision now flawless, I no longer need reading glasses. My only regret is not having it done earlier!

I was recommended to Dr. Starr by Dr. Joseph Nassir for an issue I had with my eyes.I had a really bad infection to the point where I was taking three different kinds of eyedrops everyday. I almost lost my eye to the severe infection I had in it. If it wasn't for Dr. Starr, I would have lost my eye. After seeing him multiple times the infection eventually went away. I thank Dr. Starr for all that he has done for me and I highly recommend him to others.

Now that I have been having my eyes checked by Dr. Starr for almost two and a half years, I can say with confidence that I am always very happy to come to see him.
