In June I saw Dr. Hovis for the ... - In June I saw Dr. Hovis for the first time and looked like I was headed right for an early grave. She did some research with her team and discovered that I had a serious medical condition. She set me up with treatments to get me back to my best it is because of Dr. Hovis and her team that I am still alive

I was at first apprehensive about my visit after reading a couple of the reviews. I felt very comfortable and had confidence in Dr. Hovis after just a few minutes into the visit. She listened to everything I had to say and then explained my condition and what we will do for it. I never felt she was in a hurry. She was very personable.

I like Dr. Hovis very much.

Did not take my pain and problem serious. Basically smirked at and told to take ibuprofin. Did eventually say take 1 napoxin. My pain at times is almost unbearable. I had been looking so forward to this appointment. (It took a month to get in) to finally get some sort of answer and game plan. Only to be smirked at and treated horribly.

Minimal information received. Seems to follow standard cause and procedure treatment. No deviation based upon individual differences. Standard check for swelling performed at each visit. Not knowledgeable regarding medication side effects. I needed to perform my own research of reliable sources to ascertain that effects of medication were serious and not worth having for what little, if any, improvement received from the medication. Support staff is very good. Will not be going back to this doctor as treatment became progressively frustrating as time passed. Recently instituted new computer system and doctor personally advised me not to schedule appointment during that time period. ???

I saw the doctor for an initial visit and felt that she was very thorough. She took plenty of time with me to explain her provisional diagnosis. I would recommend her.
