I was lucky to find Dr. Rocco Bassora. The highest caliber talent, knowledgeable, experienced, and empathetic. A knee injury is terrifying, but Dr. Bassora made it all manageable by having a solid treatment plan in place. I know I will be back to being active like I was prior to the injury in no time. The practice is well run, the staff is professional and kind, and the entire experience was 5-star. Thank you!

Dr. Bassora did a great job relieving the pain in my left knee via Arthroscopic surgery. He is a caring doctor with several follow ups including offering to come to my home for a checkup when I experienced some minor swelling after the surgery. I had a very bad rotator cuff tear and went to Rothman Orthopaedics as recommended by coworkers. I met with Dr. Bassora and felt comfortable immediately. He was very professional, informative and a wonderful surgeon. I had arthroscopic surgery and you would never know, not even a scar. The entire staff, from my first appointment to follow up, were friendly and helpful. I have gone to other doctors in the city and did not receive the personal attention as I had with Dr. Bassora and Rothman Orthopaedics.

I live over an hour away and wouldn't go anywhere else. I have had shoulder pain for years and have tried multiple solutions including doctors, shots, physical therapy and suggestions of surgery. After a thorough exam and review of my past medical records Dr Bassora was able to identify a combination of issues contributing to the problem and has me on the road to recovery without surgery. Let's hope he fixed my golf swing.

He performed shoulder surgery on me and the results couldn't be better. He has great skill as a surgeon and is professional and yet very personable. My progress in therapy has been extremely good. I do my exercises faithfully, but I first credit a wonderful surgeon for giving me the quality surgery that I can build on with therapy. Dr. Bassora has been nothing short of an "Angel" sent from heaven that happens to perform Orthopedic Surgery. I suffered an injury to my right shoulder that required surgery in 2014 and in 2016, a more severe injury to my left shoulder and without hesitation; I knew that I would not be satisfied with just any surgeon but Dr. Bassora. I graded each surgery as A+; as a result, I will recommend Dr. Bassora to anyone in need of a professional, dedicated, and compassionate doctor such as Dr. Bassora.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Bassora. I tore my ACL and he was able to get me in for surgery very quickly after the injury. I am an athlete and play aggressive cutting sports and needed a very strong graft. The surgery is not an easy one to go through but he was very communicative with me during the entire process, very accommodating and understanding. I moved out of state about 3 months after the surgery and had probably 3 doctors check up on my knee before being cleared to play sports again and every one of them was extremely impressed with how solid my leg was. I was able to go back to playing tennis 2 to 3 hours a day - 4 days a week at about 6 months post-op. At 10 months post-op now, I am still recovering but I am extremely active again and am glad that I went through with the surgery. I got a glowing report from the Doctor today and we all could not have been happier about my results thus far. I would never want this injury to happen again but if it did, I would not let anyone but Dr. Bassora perform the surgery. Not only is he an all around nice, empathetic and down-to-earth person but he is one of the most knowledgable and talented doctors I have ever had.

After many attempts at ending chronic pain in my left shoulder with other physicians, Dr. Bassora recommended a reverse total shoulder replacement. He explained the process thoroughly and assured me of his expertise in the procedure. During the surgery and after, Dr. B. was confident, reassuring, and was helpful in my recovery. I would recommend Dr. Bassora for orthopedic surgery without reservation.

In 1995 while a young man I tore my left rotator cuff at work but never reported it as I was on probation. I struggled with it but got it healthy and strong (not healed) over the course of a few years. On Aug 17, 2015, I had an accident in the ocean where I again tore my left rotator cuff. It was like a light switch of instant severe pain if I lied down. I hardly slept between that night and Dec 31, 2015 when I saw Dr Rocco Bassaro. He told me I could have surgery or try a shot. I decided to go for the shot which he told me was lidocaine. That night, and every night since, I have been virtually pain free and able to sleep! I have yet to get a second shot. Truly amazing and I think somewhat miraculous......Thank you Dr Bassaro.

I had torn my AC joint in my left shoulder completely apart and was very skeptical about having it reconstructed. There was a lot of articles online about how you will lose your ROM and be in constant pain and that it may not even work. Dr. Bassora did an amazing job. He made me feel confident that he was going to be able to fix my shoulder back to 100% and he stuck to his word. Now six months post surgery i have full ROM and not much pain at all. Definitely reccomend using Dr. Bassora for any shoulder issues you are having.

I had a complete shoulder replacement I had no cartilage left and was in so much pain. Now I am pain free I should of done it years ago. Dr. Bassira is a very caring Dr..with you if I ever need surgery for any reason he would be the Dr. I would go to.

DR. BASSORA Performed rotator cuff surgery on both my shoulders . His personality and deminor was awesome but his talent at surgically repairing my shoulders was even more awesome . His bed side manor and positive personality made the entire situation more bareable. If I ever needed to have arm or shoulder surgery again he is the only one I would ever consider and would highly recommend him to anyone who asks . I had total replacement of my left shoulder. Dr Bassora explained everything that was going to be done including viewing my x-rays . I am extremely happy that I am able to use my left arm again! Suffered a freak accident falling down stairs while carrying an old TV. Broken Left ankle and a ruptured right quadricep tendon. I was taken to ORMC emergency room. Emergency room staff was both efficient and professional. Once a diagnosis was confirmed I was admitted and it was then I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Bassora. Dr. Bassora evaluated my condition and thoroughly explained what exactly happen to me and what would be needed to repair the injury. He immediately put me at ease with his confidence and thoroughness. The next day I was in surgery and the long road to recovery began. The care I received from Dr. Bassora was outstanding. The excellent work he performed on both my ankle and Quadricep was so good that in 4 months I have completely recovered and am now back to work. I cannot say enough about the quality of care I received. To receive that kind of outstanding care locally in Orange County and not have to travel to New York City was just amazing and a welcomed blessing.
