He told my husband his knee pain wasn't that bad and it was all in his mind. Although his knees get hot to the touch and hurt.

I have found very few Drs that really care about his patients...This man does care...Love love love him! I would definitely recommend him to anyone that needs shoulder surgery!!!

Worst orthopedic surgeon ever!!!

The worst doctor ever . IIf you want to be messed up for the rest of you life go see him. Horrible diagnosis and didn't even sit down during vists that how fast he came and went .

I was a new patient who had hurt his shoulder in a bike accident. Dr. Brandt gave me a thorough exam and with appropriate xray and MRI data quickly found my torn rotator cuff and torn subscapularis. Due to work issues, I needed a quick turnaround, and his office worked me into the schedule. I was operated on at KRMC and I have had an excellent result from a very nasty injury. Dr. Brandt did a good job of explaining the problem, the mechanics of the operation and in setting me up for rehab. The only problem I had was in tolerating the pain killers post surgery.

Dr Brandt performed a total hip replacement on me in 2007. After the procedure when major pain issues occurred, he was completely unwilling to acknowledge my condition and sent all my inquiries and requests for help to his assistant. Who is not an MD.After repeated visits and calls to help alleviate my severe pain, his only evaluation was for me to undergo physical therapy. Note - he did not order any additional X-rays or MRIs, but simply remained adamant that therapy was the proper solution.I followed his advice with no success. After 3 months of intense pain, I traveled to New York City and visited HSS where they immediately gave me an MRI and found that Dr. Brandt had severed my abductor muscle completely. When I confronted him he denied the cutting, yet in his report he mentions an attempted repair. This is clearly not someone who tells the truth.Then we discovered another issue after additional X-Rays - the prosthetic hip was implanted improperly, which caused it to be loose creating the intense pain.I would caution anyone from seeking surgical care from this doctor. Not only are his skills sub par, but his arrogance and inattentive behavior are unacceptable.
