I highly recommend

Dr Herrin was thorough, kind, friendly, honest, and answered all my questions. Suggested and went over treatment plan options, both short term and long term. I really liked his demeanor of let’s take care of this, and showing me everything on the X-ray. His staff, that I encountered, were great too.

Had a meniscus tear. Felt confident care would be satisfactory. Surgery went off without a hitch. No complaints. Satisfied. I don't give out 5-stars but this was close. Like a 4.75 but that's not an option.

Dr. Herein is an excellent doctor. He repaired my rotator tear and I have felt only pretty well since the surgery (though still healing).

Dr herrin was timely in his appointments. He listened to me and was thorough with my injury diagnosis. He wasn’t pushing surgery, quite the opposite. His nurse and the staff were very attentive.

He replaced my acl and repaired my meniscus, so far it’s healing fast. Great doc

Dr. Herrin is fantastic! He is conservative when it comes to surgery. Only knee injection I have ever had that wasn't excruciating. Prompt for his appointments, has a a vast knowledge of ortho. Great results from knee surgery! Would recommend to anyone

Dr Herrin is one of the many drs in Springfield who practice subpar medicine. There is no innovation or push to improve medicine in Springfield because they benefit from the fact that they are the closest medical providers for many in Central Illinois. Dr Herrin rushed his decision to do surgery without actually assessing the problem and only looking at my images. The results were disastrous. The Dr that I saw for a second opinion was absolutely shocked that a physical assessment was not performed a simple assessment would have revealed the true problem and prevented so many complications. All Dr Herrin did was brag about how he taught residents and it’s terrifying that this man is teaching out future doctors
