I had a great experience with Dr isla if I need to I'd go to him in a heartbeat

Wrong diagnosis. Tells patient she is psychotic. What a waste of time.

Dr Isla was AMAZING he caught a mistake another dr diagnosed me with asap. He also explained everything to me answering all my questions and took his TIME with my visit. He is very gentle and kind he had the years experience to back up his AMAZING care??.I hve been suffering for years with what he helped me with where the other dr just took my money and did nothing I love Dr. Isla??????????

Went into see him and the first thing out of his mouth was, "You are psycho." I am sorry, I thought if you have throat issues that you should see a ENT doctor. That is exactly what his words were.

You think your patients are mental?

No bedside manner at all! He thinks you are crazy.

He thinks women are crazy

I have nothing at all good to say about this ENT Doc. I wished I would of listened to the other reviews and stayed away. I am sorry! I wished I could have given him zero stars, cause I would have.

This worthless soul needs to go get his head evaluated on his diagnosis. I wonder if everyone that walks in his office if he thinks they all got head problems? What a piece of ! I will just leave it at that. I would of gave him zero stars if I could of.

I am a singer playing in nightclubs 2 to 3 nights a week. After persistent hoarseness went to see Dr. Isla. He said I had a nodule on my vocal cord and would never be able to sing again and if I did sing my vocal chords would explode. His exact words! After searching the internet I realized he had no idea what he was talking about. My advice to you is stay away!

He can't seem to figure out what the problem is. It took me going to another doctor to diagnose me with paralyzed vocal cords, not a mental illness you worthless goat.

Will never go back. I am so very sorry I went to him to begin with. He also has a very dumpy office.

I have severe nerve damage from thyroidectomy and this so-called-doctor is completely in the dark. He thinks I am crazy. Find another doctor my friend, this old man should just retire and give- it -up! What a JOKE.

This low-life doctor should of been ran out of town a long time ago. He is clue-less to what he is doing. He also has been sued.. He thinks I am crazy. I beg you to find someone else.

I went to see Dr. Isla in May 2014, what a JOKE. He told me my throat problems were because I was a Psycho. I was so upset that this idiot just told me that. I have been suffering since the thyroid Dr. in Pa messed me up pretty bad. Mt vocal cords are paraylized. I am on my way to another Dr. to see if someone can help me. I am also feeling like I am strangling to death. I am thankful to God I never let him operate on me. I also read he had been sued. No I know why...

After taking my mother to ER on two different occasions I finally convinced ER physician to get an ENT consult. Dr. Islas came in to see my mother and took her for emergency surgery at midnight. My mother had an arterial bleed high up in her nose. This is extremely dangerous. My mother could have bleed to death had it not been for the quick and accurate diagnosis made my Dr. Isla. Follow-up care was excellent and I thank him very much for saving my mothers life ! I highly recommend this physician............

Went to him in 2000. I had been having trouble hearing out of my ear. He performed a hearing test and told me it was fine. Was still having trouble six months later, went to my primary doctor, who noticed some other symptoms, sent me for cat scan. I was diagnosed with two non cancerous brain tumors, thank god they were not cancer. The same day as the cat scan, I was sent to upmc and scheduled for surgery to take place in a few weeks. To make things short, I was getting all my tests regarding my diagnosis for upmc. I requested a written copy of my hearing test and it said significant hearing loss and he told me my test was fine. I would give him negative stars if I could.

I had my tonsils removed with Dr. Isla the very first appointment was bad. He told my dad who was with me that I wld suffocate if I didnt have this surgery. Then bc I have no insurance he proceeds to tell me that the procedure wld be around $4000. And he said " I need that before we can do anything" now before I even made the appointment whoever answered the phone at his office tld me I cld make payments on this surgery. but the story changed when I got to the appointment. I cld only make pmts on dr Isla's fee which was $1000 the rest wld be due in cash before the procedure...He charged me 100 dollars to tell me I was going to suffocate an scared my dad to death. so my dad asks can he just pay for it with his small retirement check which wasnt even enough money. Dr Isla reply's dont even cash your check just bring it to my office an endorse it over to me. .... I was completely out done by this dr who seemed to be oblivious to the fact that was all of my fathers money for that month ....(What kind of person does that ) (Basically, saying I dont care if you or your daughter starve to death as long I get paid was the undertone ) so we refused. one of his nurses tell me that I can get funding to have to surgery , I get it in days an since the referral came from his officethe people that funded my surgery used him ...I had my surgery went well took ten mins but my family waited two hours for the dr, being pulled in an out of the conferance area until, I woke up in recovery an tld the nurse to call my family ...finally he talked too my dad the first thing he said was she getting x number of pain pills an dont call me an ask for anymore bc their not going to work anyway ! my dad was confused by him saying that but said ok. and asked what if she needs longer than two weeks off. he said just call an I ll give you another slip .....so abt 4 days after surgery I called to make the follow up appointment an was tld by his rude office person that they dont see tonsil patience until 3 weeks after surgery. I explained to the person that my going back to work on the 6th a week before that she said "Well thats the way we do things here" "So, hes not going to check my throat before I go back to work" No she said he'll do it on the follow up ( so there was NO AFTER CARE FROM THIS DR AT ALL !!) an his staff are the rudest people except for one nurse who was very sweet!! oh and he refused to give me any more days off even though I cldnt talk an I am a customer service rep so I talk all day this dr has no bed side manner he does no after care what so ever hes all abt greed and the almighty dollar do your research find another dr he horrible an so is his staff !!!
