Dr. Roman Thomas Pachulski, MD

Very personable and friendly professional with an agreeable disposition. Highly educated and knowledgeable in regards to his field of expertise.

Worst so called dr ever!!!

Dr. Pachulski no longer practices in San Antonio, having up and moved to Stony Brook, New York some time within the past 3 months and did not notify me nor did he let me know where I could find my medical records. Quite a shock to show up for a scheduled appointment and find his office locked and dark. An internet search yielded the information that he is currently practicing in Stony Brook, NY. Bummer.

Dr. Pachulski is extremely smart and skilled. Additionally, his bedside manner is excellent and his team is friendly and caring. He has improved my quality of life immensely! I would trust him to care for every member of my family, and recommend him to anyone!

Over several yrs; Dr.P. & staff very efficient, never unfriendly. Dr's use of technology to quickly review & explain test results is excellent; always calm. He immediately changed my meds when side effects occurred. I did feel he was not open to questions after providing brief patient education, perhaps due to efficient time scheduling. However, he did take time to engage in a brief discussion w/answers & explanations. I would recommend him to anyone seeking a specialist in Cardiac Electrophysiology.

We have been seeing this Dr. going on five years.. My husband has an extremely low heart function and initially had to see this Dr. in an emergency situation with a defibrillator gone bad (implanted by TexSan)... We believe this Dr. posses the highest level of expertise in his medical specialty... not an alarmist and does not order ongoing, redundant, and unnecessary tests. This is no "cattle call" office. He knows his patients' history and takes the time to listen to patients' concerns...and to educate the patient on any recommended procedure.

I am a patient who has been pacemaker dependent for 20 years. I have had extensive experience with cardiologists, not only as a patient, but professionally also as I am a R.N. Dr. Pachulski's high level of knowledge and skill has significantly improved my quality of life. To say that I am thankful is an understatement. He is truly a fabulous cardiologist.

DR.PACHULSKI BY FAR IS A GOD SEND!! I LOVE THIS DOCTOR, HE IS CARING, HE DOESNT JUST TELL YOU SOMETHING & WALK OUT OF THE ROOM HE EXPLAINS. I COULDNT HAVE ASKED FOR A BETTER CARDIOLOGIST. HE STAFF IS EXCELLENT, THEY ARE FRIENDLY, PATIENT & ALSO CARING.

All they care about is your money. If he spent as much effort on patient care then it would have been better. Go anywhere else.

Dr Pachulski welcomes second opinions. When a patient or family member obtains a second option after 2 consecutive visits, it indicates that there is a lack of trust. The physician patient relationship is based on trust, from both parties. If Dr Pachulski feels that relationship has been compromised, it is in the best interest of the patient to follow with one doctor in a particular specialty. There is less room for error if one physician is managing care.

Why put up with a cold Dr who just isn't interested in what a patient has to say. I told his office we wanted to get a second opinion of my dad's heart condition following his hospitalization for CHF. A few days later, Dr Pachulski sent a letter to my elderly dad dropping him as a patient. A very unpleasant experience during a stressful time with my dad. Never recommend.

Cold and arrogant. In my opinion, Dr Pachulski is better suited for research medicine than patient facing care. I always felt like a machine that was just plugged in/out or a data point on his computer screen. No wonder his waiting room always seemed so empty.

The time with the doctor is always rushed. My questions were answered with sarcasm or disdain. I really don't know how serious or benign my conditiin is and I've had multiple test and 6 visits. I'm reasonable intelligent and left feeling like a dolt after each visit. I'm reluctant to even reveal adverse side effects of prescribed medication because of the negative response to any comment I make.

Was seen same day and found the office to be very pleasant. I had all my workup done for my upcoming surgery within a week. Dr was very pleasant and has a great bedside manner.

I have been a patient of the office for the past 2 years and even though I have experienced waiting time of more than an hr, I have followed all the appt and intsructions. My last visit, when I question why I needed my 3 EKG in 2 months, the doctor interrupted me and told me to shut up. He dismissed me as a patient for the mere fact of rightfully so I question why another test when I was there for a follow up. I called the insurance and was told that he had ordered 3 times the amount of average cardiac work up test. I had a battery of test 2 months ago that were all normal. He was rude and show he is only in medicine for the money. Do not recommend to anybody.

how could a dr. ablate with no indication from what the problem could be and risk a chance of complete heartblock. a 22 yr old female during a electrophisiology test with a history of SVT gets her av node ablated with no echos from that area during the study, why ablate? with a chance of complete heartblock. Should a dr. ablate (with risks) unless sure of the circumstance. well they do. this dr. ruined my life. should have never ablated anything without any proof it was avnode re entry, which it wasnt, turned out to be automatic atrial tachycardia per Durham med center. Pacemaker plus tachycardia, THANKS ALOT.........
