Dr. Ronald Allen Stratton, DO

unfortunately, i got connected to dr. stratton through cvs minute clinic for a virtual visit. he seemed friendly at first then quickly devolved into pushy/abrupt and not concerned AT ALL about the patient. why else do you become a doctor except to care for ….patients???? he asked the obligatory questions, checked the boxes he needed to legally check (he asked if i was allergic to any medications twice) but when i tried to interrupt with my symptoms, he kept cutting me off. prescribed me an antibiotic. at the end, i was able to sneak in ONE QUESTION- and he totally blew me off. and hung up. glad he can live off his 4 minute virtual visit money while he makes patients feel unseen and uncared for. i cried when he hung up on me. i’m so sick and now, on top of it, i feel disregarded. this guy needs to be looked into.

Rude! Kept cutting me off when I was trying to explain. Didn't even check anything yet wrote things in the record that I didn't say!!! I waited 2 hours to see an online Dr. I've never had such a horrible experience. The visit was only 4 minutes. He didn't seem to care at all. Very upset & still sick with no medication. Horrible bedside manner.

If I could give ZERO stars I would this doctor is rude dismissive quick to judge and simple doesnt have any patient care manor. He needs to be investigated.

Bad...just really bad. Very dismissive and unhelpful. IT is better to be face to face. They just don't seem to care online.

This doctor is an absolute joke. If you are genuinely sick and are forced to see this man through MinuteClinic then I am sorry for you! I have strep + flu and this man dismissed me saying that it’s not possible to have both. What a joke! I am in so much pain and I’ve been crying so much. This doctor needs to be reported! When I contacted the company he works for and they said they have no record of our interaction. This man is sloppy and a fraud!

I almost canceled my virtual appointment with this Dr. based on the negative reviews he's received. After reading the reviews I feel like they are a bit unjust and their complaints should be focused on their insurance companies and the type of negotiated arrangements they have with their approved Dr's. Most Dr's are part of a practice group, that has pre-negotiated rates with the insurance company (not sure if this Dr. does or doesn't). Dr's are also limited in treatments because they have to "Code" each diagnosis to align to the insurance companies and governments predefined list of ailments. Apologies for the soap box, but I hope it helps clear up some of the poor ratings that this Dr. and some other Dr's have. I had a great experience with this Dr. and he met all of my expectations by addressing the issues i was there to get diagnosed/treated.

I wanted to cry at how mean this guy was. I was in so much pain and called him via tele health. In the middle of me talking, he cuts me off and says “Bye, I’m cancelling this call.” and hangs up. I couldn’t believe it. So arrogant, and really sad that he can treat people this way.

I do not recommend this provider. biggest waste of money.

I've used this online service 5 times or so in the past two years, no problem. However, this guy says you can only have ONE complaint a call, even if minor. So, if I'm having some mild sinus issues and a mild rosacea flare-up, that's TWO visits per him. Add in mild arthritis, an that's three 60-dollar bills for three calls in ONE afternoon. BTW, his own help service says that is COMPLETELY wrong, and he is now being investigated by them.

I have done a virtual visit twice now with Dr Stratton and he listened and was very helpful. I know my body and knew I had a sinus infection, but worried when I called it would be treated like I had COVID. He listen to me and made me feel comfortable! I got to the review site because I searched so I could make hopefully have him as my primary doctor, and I am shocked at some of the negative reviews. Sadly he is not located in my state, but I will continue to use him for virtual visits!

One star only because I cant choose ZERO stars. My first time with ascension health online was pretty bad. This doctor will talk down to you and tell you WHY you dont feel like you do and it "couldn't be" what it has been many times in the past etc. Ive talked with Pharmacists that were more knowledgeable than "Doctor" Ronald Stratton. What a joke.

With the right questions he figured out that I had mastitis and I had antibiotics at my door in 2 hours. Had he brushed me off like others that I told I had a fever and body aches and no cough or cold - especially during this coronavirus pandemic - I would have gotten much worse and my baby would be without her mom.

First time using a telehealth app and was very pleased. During the coronavirus pandemic I had high fevers for 2 days but no cough or sore throat. I was scared to leave my house and I had a new baby at home that I was breastfeeding around the clock. Within a minute of asking very good questions he diagnosed me with mastitis and my safe and appropriate prescription for antibiotics was delivered to me in 2 hours. I can’t thank him enough. I was expecting to be told to drink fluids and rest and if I had gotten worse my baby would be without her mom for days. Thanks so much Dr Stratton

he is rude, crude and socially unacceptable as a doctor. Dont schedule telehealth appts with him. he is a waste of time and money

I connected with Dr. Stratton via the Live Health App. He could barely give me the time of day, didn't listen to me, and hung up on me while I was in the middle of talking. Would not recommend him to anyone for any reason.

I used Dr. Stratton through my virtual visit with my insurance company. He was on the call with me for less then 3 minutes. Did not hear my concerns, brushed me off and basically hung up on me. I will be reporting him to the company as I do not believe he should be allowed on their system. I told him how I was doing all of his recommendations and he still refused to treat me. Said I needed to come back in another 3-5 days to get the antibiotics I needed. I will report this everywhere as he is incompetent. That's what you get from a DO instead of a real MD!

Listened carefully and explained the situation and provided recommendations etc. Friendly and professional.

Concerned about my overall health. And what he could do to improve how I feel. Listened to the problem and made an accurate diagnosis. He quickly responded to all of my questions with detailed explanation. He was very good.

Have had red bumps for over two weeks all over body. He looked at my arm for one second and said mosiquito bites. When I tried to tell him no he wouldn't listen.
