Dr. Ronald James Bonaguro, MD

VERY VERY DISSATISFIED WITH LACK OF PROPER TREATMENT, IE A PROCEDURE TO DISSOLVE KIDNEY STONES. HE ORDERED THIS PROCEDURE PREVIOUSLY & WHEN THEY REOCCURRED HE SAID HE WOULDN'T ORDER THE PROCEDURE W/O ANY REASON BY HE WOULDN'T REPEAT THE PROCEDURE.

After my PSA test came back high, my doctor suggested Dr. Bonaguro. He confirmed that my prostate did not feel correct and a follow up biopsy confirmed cancer. Dr. Bonaguro gave me options and we choose surgery with the DaVinci Robotic Surgical Device. I was released from the hospital the following day and my PSA level is zero. I have several friends who also go to Dr. B and like me they think he is the best. The staff at his Evergreen Park office is friendly, considerate, and work well with you.

Dr. Bonaguro and his staff were professional and understanding to my special needs child. Took time to explain things not only to the patient but also to me, treating my child with dignity. Kudos to you.

Referred by of my primary care physician, I went to Dr. Bonagureo because of problems with urination. After a prostate exam, I was given samples of Rapaflo to try. Soon after the exam I noticed a bump in the rectal area. On my return visit he examined it and said it was either an abscess or an infected hair follicle and to see my primary care physician. My PC physician said it was a hemorrhoid and sent me to a gastroenterologist who confirmed my PC physician's diagnosis.On my next visit I was told there was "pus" in my urine and it needed to be tested. The test were negative. Evidently the white cells evaporated on the trip between his office and the lab. I was also given a CD and brochure for "Cooled ThermoTherapy. No other medication or treatment options were discussed. I asked about medications and was told by him via a staff that it was the best available.Because of my experiences, I have no confidence or trust in him or his staff and will not be returning.
