Dr. Ronald Saxon Stroud, MD

He is a rare find in today's world of doctor's. He is the best doctor I've ever had. He actually cares about his patients and makes you feel comfortable under his care. I met him when he saved my Mother's life after another doctor butchered her, and she would have died if we had not found him. The most knowledgeable doctor I've ever known, and did whatever it took to take care of your medical problems. He became the doctor to six of my family members. He is a wonderful, caring, thorough doctor.

This was the best doctor I have ever been to. He is caring. He has an excellent bedside manner, and he is very personable. I saw him as my primary doctor for over four years and all of a sudden without warning the administrators fired him. Why? Dr. Stroud was the only doctor who I felt I could actually talk to and be honest with about my health problems. The administrators made me feel like I did not matter, since they gave him and his patients no warning and time to find another doctor. If anything, UAB West, you are foolish for letting go one of the best doctors I have met in my lifetime. And I have met a lot.
