Dr. Roxanne Gail Carfora, DO

Horrible experience. Staff is terribly rude; hard to reach anyone on the phone. Office has changed considerably over the years. Seems to be all about making money now. Doesn't return calls or answer messages on portal. Patient care has declined. Would not recommend this doctor.

This place is now a joke, very incompetent office staff, always messing up appointments and can not manage to send prescriptions to a mail away pharmacy online, not that difficult! Seems they've become all about selling supplements and injectables and no longer care about the welfare of the patients who used to seek her for her knowledge and holistic approach. Didn't mind paying out of pocket when I used to see the doctor, but know you're lucky to get an in person appointment and that is only when the office hasn't made a mistake. I rearranged a vacation based on my appointment date just to be told the day of that the appointment wasn't mine but someones who had a similar name, really? Find someone else whose priority is the actual patient and not the money! Do not go here unless you want nothing buy aggravation.

I've been seeing Dr. Carfora since 1997 when I was injured and my husband had a hear attack, and we've been seeing her ever since. She's caring and very intelligent. She spends time with her patients, which is rare today. Dr. Carfora has seen us through illness and injury for over 20 years. We trust her implicitly and highly recommend her for all of your medical needs.

Roxanne Carfora is a disgrace to the medical community. She did not provide care to my mother and ignored my mother's several attempts to discuss abnormal lab results at a time when my mother's cancer was metastasizing. My mother has since passed away, only three months after her diagnosis by another doctor. Roxanne Carfora ignored my mother at a time when she could have made a difference in her health, and directly contributed to her death. She should be banned from the medical community, she is a businesswoman, not a doctor.

I had not problems with her move - which was not of her choosing. I have been seeing her for years to manage hypothyroidism. Only doctor who listens and examines every aspect of bloodwork to maximize results. Doesn't just test and go by labs, she will work with how you feel. The front office is exceptionally better - yes, there was one very brusque employee. All office and PA staff, awesome.

The medical industry certainly needs more of what Dr Roxanne Carfora possesses. Compassion and knowledge being on the top of the list amongst so much more. She lives her life caring for humanity and anything that breaths. Her focus is solely on your personal needs when you are in her company. She hears everything you say and processes it before the the conversation is over. When the conversation is done, she already has a clear firm direction as to where to send you, what tests your going to need, to attack the culprit that’s messing with your wellness. I’m not using The term appointment, or office visit Because when you are in your appointment with her, You feel like your on a visit with a caring, loving , knowledgeable, family member. I think we all agree, the medical field today is quite frustrating to deal with, to say the least. It’s difficult almost impossible to find a physician who honestly cares about their patients wellness and needs in a way that we all need them too. Dr. Roxanne Carfora cares. She will pull you out of the tornado of useless appointments, and tests with no answers, that these physicians today suck you into. She not just a specialist in her chosen area, she’s a specialist in you, and what you need. I am a 61 year old women, and let me tell you, you do not find that quality and knowledge anywhere, not today. Yes, sometimes the office stuff is nuts, and you have to wait to see her longer than you want, she’s worth it, and even more so, so are you. I know I am. I think we all have to realize, running an office, dealing with these crazy times and ridiculous insurance plans, authorizations, approvals, all that stuff has no bearing on the quality and care that comes from her expertise. Yeah, she’s highly sort after, so no, your not getting an appointment the next day with her. Unless, it’s an emergency. Keep in mind one thing when your frustrated because you had to wait longer than you wanted . She’s with a patient, and that patient is her mind is the only importance at that time. When it’s your turn? Someone else after you is sitting and waiting. When she’s with you, your getting the attention, and time that you need . She’s not thinking about who’s sitting in that waiting room waiting. She’s focused solely on you and your needs. So like I said before, go with patients, and know your getting the best care ever from a firm, knowledgeable , caring, and generous Doctor. This is my opinion, and experience knowing, and having her as my Family Practitioner . Remember she, and the office Workers, her PA, aren’t gods or magicians. Their all human, just like us.

Moved location to St. James and never notified existing patients. Also left several messages cause no one ever answers the phone and never received a call back.

Dr. Carfora relocated her practice abruptly , I had no idea where she went until finally searching online for her . No letter no phone call advising of the move. Then to make matters worse , she charged me for a no show fee which I cancelled MONTHS ago due to the fact she doesn’t have any hours available for working people !! The front desk did not cancel my appointment properly . Extremely disappointing because I really liked her and the office initially .

the tall blonde woman that gives sonograms is so nasty..doesnt say hi ..is rough...she gives you the paper towel to clean off the gel...no personality..i always feel anxious when i have go see her..and why..if a office opens at 8am...you have to listen to voice mail? no one answers

Horrific! My husband went to for months complaining of massive headaches followed by vomiting and she does a sonogram of his stomach?? He had to be rushed to the emergency room in a coma state with a tumor the size of his fist. Granted his type of cancer is not curable however, She misdiagnosed and cause more suffering to my husband. I highly do not recommend anyone going to this doctor. She is not a doctor she’s a fraud.

Office is a joke ,Abusive, the blonde curses out patients. ( must be family ). Front staff is too busy on their cell phones & get angry if you call and disturb them. Dr is a supplement pusher. If you are sick, you'll need to see another Dr after going to Carfora.

The office maybe be a little crazy with girls up front not gonna lie and it does take few months to get in to see Dr Carfora , with that being said , my health is worth more then all that. Today you have to be ur own doctor and do your research , at DR Carforas she is super knowledgeable and does a way more extensive blood panel work up then any other doctor.I am proof of that , I’ve had so many health issues , and other doctors could not figure me out or do the right test . I’ve had 25 surgeries, Been in a coma and now 25 years later I’m Paying for it. And Dr carfora has been able to help me and figure out what’s going on with my body . So if u have to wait 3 mths make an appointment for next time after every Visit . So once that Intial visit with the PA and her it’s easy , s be patient and you will be a “Healthier Patient “. That’s why I have 5 Stars.

Uncaring Dr, staff is beyond rude. No follow up. You will need to see another Dr anyway. Dr Carfora is an idiot.

Very arrogant for a person who is not a doctor but an assistant. Can not take another visit with him. Dr Carfora takes months to get an appointment.Time to move on.

If you have nothing better to do than wait 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours then go here. I have never experienced such a long wait as I do here. Not the first time but certainly the last after I expressed my disappointment and was told with shrug shoulders "what do you want me to do?" An apology would have been nice. None offered. Pretty much told to go elsewhere.

I went to her office 3 times never seen her once saw PA's who were very nice . Last time I was I saw a nice new PA who was having trouble sending over electronic prescriptions. This was why I was there after being told everything went through I left. Went to pharmacy to pick them up and they weren't there . I called the office and was told she would resend or call them in. She never did . The girls at the from desk tried helping me or so I thought. I called the next day to ask them to try again they flat out said NO and I could come pick up when I had a chance. I explained I couldn't come and was told well you work close so it's no big deal. Well the big deal was my car was in the shop and I couldn't come . I went for prescriptions paid a copay but never received what I went for. The front desk girls (2) actually were so nasty and rude wouldn't even leave message for the PA . I myself work for a doctor and would never again recommend Dr. Carfora's office to any person . If I spoke to our patients the way her's did I would either not have a job or a lot less patients.

this lady is a joke, got a respected dr closed in 2015 in wading river, then closes her practice limitless360 in mt sinai a mere 4 months later. she is there for show not a good dr at all. awful, find another dr to see because her and her staff are pill mills.
