Dr. Hood is a wonderful doctor. I've seen him quite a few times. Takes time to allow you to speak, listens, explains everything well about your situation. Highly recommend him.

I am not sure why Dr. Hood gets so many great reviews. He rushed me out of his office and I left feel even more discouraged than when I went in there. I told him I was tired of living in pain and the only the he did was prescribe pain medication. No help at all. Feel like I wasted time and money

My visit with Dr Hood was to receive another cortisone injection in an arthritic knee. Always pleasant and always professional. Friendly and approachable. I asked about some other aging ailments and he discussed them with me and we laughed at getting old. I always enjoy my visits with him.

If you are having an orthopedic issue and need help ASAP I recommend Florida Orthopedic Associates Walk in Clinic in New Smyrna Beach. The staff there including Dr. Hood is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Dr. Hood took the time I required to explain a knee replacement procedure and ease my concerns.

Very preliminary examination. An actual take 2 Tylenol and see you next visit appointment. This diagnosis in spite of months of severe pain causing an inability to get a sufficient night's rest.
