Dr. Ryan J Cabatbat, MD

I am happy to say that I finally found a MD that listens and genuinely cares. He’s the best! And that’s saying a lot because I have lots of problems and have had countless doctors over the years.

I finally found a doc that cares. He was running late and I was seen 20 minutes after my appointment time. I anticipated that I would be rushed to get the visit over with ad it has happened with other doctors in the past, but I was so wrong. He took his time and I did not feel rushed at all. He address all of my concerns and even the ones I didn’t even think of. Staff is very friendly too.

My daughter had a phone visit regarding changing her BP med which was controlling her BP but had an annoying side effect. She was taking a combo drug, he prescribed her just the HCTZ part in the same dosage without an antihypertensive despite her questioning him repeatedly. Her BP went to 168/92 the day she took the HCTZ, had headache and generally felt unwell. When my daughter told me what happened I thought that this may have been a very inexperienced ARNP but no. As an experienced MD and myself a 40year RN working in ICU I believe this was very poor practice that could have been harmful.

The thing that impressed me most is that he took his time. I did not feel rushed like I have in the past with SO MANY other doctors. I’m glad me and my family found him.

I have been a Kaiser patient for 11 years and have a lot of medical issues. I’ve seen so many different providers and was having problems with most of them. My friend recommended to change my PCP to Dr. C and I’m so glad I did. He’s the best!!!

I just picked him as my new primary care doctor at Kaiser. He is amazing and I don't think I could've found a better doc for me and my family. He's the first doctor that explained things to me in a way that I could understand. I have a much better understanding of my health conditions. If you're in Bakersfield and need a great doctor, he's definitely the one to choose.

This survey reflects His work at the CSV Clinic on east Niles, Not CSV on MLK Blvd....where the service is slow, the records office loses records and the wait time is longer than KMC, and the staff is so confused they get little done......ever!
