Dr. Ryan Lewis Dabbs, MD

I had the opportunity to see Dr. Ryan Dabbs for a knee problem. While I was there Dr. Dabbs was polite and professional however, I felt the appointment was rushed. I was not prepared for the news I received and was caught flat footed when he asked me if I had any questions. Several weeks later when I had the opportunity, I went back with my wife for a second consultation with him and with many questions prepared. When he walked in he asked me why he was he was seeing me in the office for a second time. I informed him I had many questions I needed to ask, and he seem exasperated with me and my wife. During the course of the consultation, he continuously looked at his watch and rolled his eyes at some questions. Clearly, he had some place better to be! He is probably an excellent surgeon but his bedside manner is lacking compassion and due to his lack of compassion he was not the physician for me!

Dr. Dabbs, professionalism and thoughtfulness and attention to Detail was very reassuring and made me feel much better about the surgery about to be performed.

My hip replacement with Dr. Dabbs went well. He is very pleasant, explained the why's and how,'s of surgery completely, and answered all of my questions beforehand as well as during recovery. His nursing team was VERY responsive when I called with questions. I would highly recommend Dr. Dabbs!

This appointment was the after surgery follow up. Staff was very nice & the nurse was very gentle taking off the surgery bandages & removing the stitches. Dr. Dabbs I has always taken time to answer my questions & concerns. I feel I made the right choice having Dr. Dabbs do my tkr surgery. Before my follow up when I called into the office for questions on my meds, etc. I received a pretty prompt reply & my issues have always been resolved. The office is very busy, but I don’t feel like the wait was excessive given how busy it is there.

Wow, that was fast and efficient! Be prepared a head of time and get the help you need. Everyone was professional from the front desk, first assistant, x-ray tech and doctor.

Dr. Dabbs has been treating me for several years. From ischial bursitis to a miracle hip replacement to a damaged rotator cuff, he has helped me overcome several health issues that have improved the quality of my life. He also did an amazing rotator cuff repair on my husband, a stroke patient who only has one good arm. Dr. Dabbs himself wasn’t confident that the repair would hold but after nine months it’s still doing fantastic. I’m thankful that Dr. Dabbs has been willing to listen to me and work with me over the years. I would recommend him for Orthopaedic services, especially hip and shoulder issues.

very knowledgeable- recommended cortisone injection, improved alot- TOC experience was excellent, great nurses, xray immediately available. Compared both knees, recognized prior injury. TOC also has braces and immediately available in house.

Attentive professional care during my visit. Dr Dabbs assessed my knee injury and recommended my next steps.

Didn’t feel like he gave me adequate info on what was happening and how I could deal with the pain at home. Just scheduled an MRI and said we would just wait to see what shows. Period!

A great experience, very helpful over the phone they gave me an appointment as i requested, patient parking was covered and in the center building not in a different plot, all the staff were smiling and answering my questions, and Dr. Ryan thank you for being so patient with me (because i have a phobia of needles, shots ...) eventhough i was screeming like a child he kept smiling and telling me no worries what it matters that you get better
