Dr. Ryan Michael Geringer, DO

Prompt, courteous, professional and very little wait time.

I was seen by Dr. Gerranger yesterday & he hardly spent three minutes with me. The nurse said he was running behind but they put me in a room and he saw many patients before me that came in after me & I had an appointment earlier than they. He only came in to give me a shot & NEVER told me what it was until I asked him as he was going out the door. I then ask him his name & introduced myself and ask him what was the shot he gave me. I have used doctors at Mayo and UAB but never been seen like this. He didn’t take time for me to ask questions or to let me know what it was. I got to my appointment twenty minutes early and they were wonderful checking me in & getting me back but I sat in the room while I listened to him seeing patients on either side of me for quite a while. I had my door open and these patients were not in the waiting room and had to have come in after me!!! Over & Over I ask “have ya’ll forgotten me” & all she said was “he’s running BEHIND “!!! Disappointed !!!!!

I liked him. Glad he's my doctor. Very nice man. Will see him again next week.

Dr Geringer replace both of my knees. He's a great doctor and I highly recommend him.

Spent over a month trying to schedule an appoint for surgery. Staff keep saying they didn't receive clearance from my primary physician. Had the information sent to the office three different times. Staff stated they never received it. Know for a fact they did. I was in the doctor's office when they sent it. After making a dozen calls and no one answered, left multi message they did call back again saying they didn't receive the ok. I give up. I was not going to have my physician send them anything else. Made an appointment with another doctor.

It’s very disappointing to have a doctor that’s interested in making money than following up and having open conversations with a patient. Office staff, is ridiculous. Might be a great surgeon, but if the doctor is so busy that they don’t take time to listen or properly evaluate the issues at hand, what’s the point of going? Why make a patient wait weeks for a response, then after numerous attempts by the patient to get answers and follow up, the office staff comes up with some crazy lie about why. Then, after a second complaint the doctor said he no longer wants to treat the patient. Glad the patients money paid for that next vacation.

Hughson Clinic runs like a well oiled machine. Loved Dr.Geringer..great bedside manner and he made me feel better immediately. Would definitely go back if I had to.

I have seen Dr. Geringer for my shoulder and had surgery and also had total knee replacement. He is excellent!! He is very caring and listens to what you say. I would definately recommend him to anyone.

At the age of 71 I needed a total right shoulder replacement. Dr. Geringer performed the surgery and I can not be more pleased. Now three months out, I am starting to play golf again, with no pain or stiffness. Thank you Dr. Geringer!

Was given a shot in left knee to relive pain. The shot helped me with the pain level. Very pleased.

Worst experience I've had with a Dr.Sent the student in to examine me.Did one xray couldn't find the problem told me couldn't justify doing any thing else.I've been in the health care system for years. I will continue to try and find help for my problem some where else.

Dr Geringer has always been very relatable in treatment. He was the surgeon that did a rotator cuff surgery back in 2014. I appreciate his direct approach, and as a patient, I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Geringer has performed shoulder, knee and hip surgery on me in the past 7 years. He has treated me and my family with great compassion and he has terrific listening skills. The best experience I had with Dr. Geringer was early spring 2011 when I totaled my car & fractured my tibia and fibula in NC. The team at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center recommended surgery. Based Dr. Geringer and The Hughston Clinic's reputation, I chose to come home and meet with Dr. Geringer. Following my MRI and his consultation with two colleagues Doc stated "If you were my dad, I would recommend a brace and natural healing; the leg would be stronger in the long run." All went well with the healing. Honesty and Integrity are Dr. Geringer's most valuable skills plus he has an outstanding staff working with him; kudos to Renee Bunn!

I appreciate the fact I didn't have to wait hours to be seen. Every Staff member was attentive , efficient and knowledgeable with all questions. I say this for both visits.
