My first visit to Dr. Jander and I was very happy. Great bedside manner and Answered all my questions and performed a procedure that I hope works. I would definitely recommend this doctor.

I thought be the was a hand specialist I was in good “hands.” However, I was told my broken finger was healing and to come back in a month for another X-ray. Why? I left a message the day after my appt (Friday morning) and have yet to get a response! Signed up for the patient portal and sent him an email with my questions, NOTHING! It’s been almost a week now. Now I’m starting to wonder if he was right in telling me I didn’t need surgery! Definitely going to get a second opinion!! What a joke

Dr Jander is a wonderful person and an excellent surgeon. I recommend him highly.

My all around experience was very positive. Dr. Jander has excellent "bedside manner" and is also very candid in his diagnosis, prognosis and treatment options. He even took time to follow up with me personally after reviewing my C/T scan on a Saturday. His staff is also very professional and courteous. If I had one concern it would be the wait time (over an hour) -- there are a variety of reasons why this was the case so no need to draw conclusions (I am sure there are plenty of others that would say the exact opposite). This rating was based on my initial visit and I will submit another following my hand surgery and rehabilitation.

He has a terrible bedside manner. It seemed as though I was part of an assembly line. He puts you off on his PA's and then sent me to a rheumatologist to figure out what was wrong. My finger now looks deformed and is hard to use.

The wait is excruciating in the Woodbridge office -- then actual time spent with patient is less than 3 minutes.

Once taken to the room to see Dr. Jander, I sat for 1 whole hour! Then he glanced at my MRI and said he didn't see anything wrong, even though 2 other physicians saw a problem with my wrists. He touched my hand briefly and said I was a healthy woman and it was just tendonitis although I have OA and tendonitis in both knees and ankles, high blood pressure and cervical radiopathy!! I will NEVER go back to see him again!

DO not choose this Dr.- charm ,no proper ortho exam, and no substance inclusive of .Ortho expertise, time spent,.In retrospect - he stood up whole time, did not engage pt., did not provide clinical exam of injury, talk about AND/OR explore different tx. options and engage pt. with best evidence possible tx plan! F/u call if problem lacking,"so called triage- no response from nurse or Dr." for 4 days.Pain and deformity persists.

There's no way to communicate with this doctor in between visits. This doctor seems impatient in answering your questions. It seems he wants to hurry and leave. This doctor is very strict in giving you percocet. If you are in pain and ask for more he won't give you anymore. He shows no compassion. Also this doctor is not in sync with physical therapy. Hes a risky doctor.

I found Dr. Jander to be a truly caring and compassionate physician. His bedside manner is genuine and sincere. He seems to really listen and not hurry out to the next patient. The wait to see him was a little long, but it was worth it once he finally made it to the room. One cortisone shot and I am good as new. I would highly recommend him to any family member.

To me Dr Jander is the best. warm and caring and never gave up on me when I just wouldnt heal. He returnd all my calls, and fought with my insurance company to get me the need services. He truely cares about his patients and what he does. He has a very soft touch and a great bedside manner. I truely trust him as a doctor and in his ablility to care for me. Thank you Dr Jander.

Once I decied I needed to do something about the worsening pain in both of my hands, I found Dr. Jander. After some testing he informed me that I had Carpal Tunnel in both hands and that surgery is the best option. I had heard many say that this procedure is rarely successful. But Dr. Jander is awesome! After 8 months and counting, my left hand ( I am left handed) is doing great. And I don't and have not had any symptoms since the procedure. Great Job Dr. Jander!

Horrible experience with this doctor and with Greater Metro Orthopedics. Dr. Jander would not listen to me at all. He put on a cast too tight and after numerous calls to his office without being able to speak with anyone, I had to go to an emergency room to have the cast cut off due to swelling. His office staff are rude and incompetent. I would not let this doctor touch you with a ten foot pole.
