I had complete trust in Dr. T performing my knee replacement surgery. His bedside manner and office visit demeanor are bright, positive, and informative. I highly recommend him!

I am very impressed with Dr Ryan Takenaga. He listened to me and explained my options fully. As I chose surgery, he explained the procedure and what to expect afterward. He operated on my trigger thumb on 12/21/2022 and he did a fantastic job. It healed with little to no pain and as of my follow-up visit on 1/31/22 you can not even see a scar where the procedure was done. My thumb now works perfectly with no pain. I give him high marks and would not hesitate to use his services again. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Takenaga, is the Best of the Best! I would highly recommend him. I am 51 years old and fell at my dock , torn the meniscus on both sides of my knee. I was in pain and was ready to be well. Doctor explained what was going on with my knee and gave me options. I was ready to get well, so went with the option to have surgery After surgery, walked right out, with a little help, but walking. Feel great today, no scars, He cares about you as a patient and person. Explains things very well, can't say enough great things about him. If you are in pain, don't wait, go see him. Dr Takenaga is a great doctor and surgeon. He’s always on time and cheerful. He is very attentive and doesn’t get in a hurry. Answers all my questions and understands the needs of patients.

Dr. Takenaga has now fixed both my knees. My most recent injury was a ruptured acl and like before he has done a great job. He has a true gift and is very compassionate. I would never let anyone else ever perform osurgery on me. I am so grateful to have had the pleasure of working with him 6 years ago with my first knee injury.

Dr.Takenaga performed 2 different surgeries for me. One was a rotator cuff and the other was a torn meniscus. I can not say enough good things about my overall experience...100% satisfied!!

I went in with carpel tunnel issues that I had been experiencing for several years. Dr. Takenaga was respectful and listened to me explain what I was experiencing, even though he had probably heard it hundreds of times. We scheduled surgery at the Emerge Clinic in Durham, (also an excellent staff), and everything went off without a hitch. I would recommend Dr. Takenaga and all the Emerge staff to anyone.

I took my 96 year old father to see Dr. Takenaga in the Roxboro office due to knee problems. This Dr continued to repeat his age, insinuating there was no hope for him. After his very short “examination “ he left the room without saying a word. My 96 year old father will not be returning. Very poor bedside manner.

Had a reverse total shoulder replacement. Could not ask for a better surgeon the Dr. Takenaga. His follow up care has been superb a well.

Dr. Takenagawas very personal, friendly and took good care of me before and after my procedure. He listened attentively as I told him what I was going on with me.
