My daughter was 15 when we first met with Dr. Churgin for a consult for a breast reduction. She suffered from severe back pain and was 5’ 2” and a size G. We did not take the possibility of our daughter having a breast reduction lightly and wanted to explore all options as there were many concerns about her development and implications for the future. That was over a year and a half ago and through consultation, exams, surgery and post op we would not change one thing!!!! Every visit was at least a two hour drive each way and Dr. Churgin and the entire administrative staff are caring, thorough and top notch!!! Dr. Churgin’s skill as a surgeon is unparalleled and coupled with amazing patience to answer all her questions and concerns. They assisted us with the insurance process which can be very lengthy but they were by our side through the entire process. Dr. Churgin even made a special visit to her NYC office to accommodate our schedule!!!! The staff was incredible - not only did they check in the night of the surgery but continued to follow-up for several days and made themselves available at ANY time day or night!! My daughter could not be happier with the outcome and her increase in self confidence as well as living pain free has been an unbelievable relief for her and us for a better quality of life! If you are considering a breast reduction for your daughter I would definitely recommend meeting with Dr. Churgin!! It has literally been life changing for my daughter!!!!!

Dr. Churgin and her office staff are amazing. Dr. Churgin made sure I understood all facets of the procedure I was having and made me feel at ease with the whole process. The office staff, specifically Frank, Kathy, Ann, and Jocelyn, were absolutely incredible and by far the best office staff of any medical office I've ever been to. I cannot say enough good things about them and Dr. Churgin!

Dr. Churgin and her staff has gone above and beyond to help me. Words can't express how greatful I am. I'm an out of network paitent that has been approved by my health insurance. I'm now a week post-op. As soon as I sat up after surgery I immediately felt relief on my neck, back, and shoulders. I couldn't believe how good I felt. I haven't had any back pain since. I'm still in the recovery process but so far I'm really happy with my results. Also the staff checks in with you multiple times throughout the days to see how you're doing, which for me I really liked. I'll will update this post again when I'm further in my recovery.

So I wrote a review a few weeks ago bc I wanted to let everyone no that I meet the most awesome, knowledge, caring an the most lovely doctor. Dr Churgin made me feel so comfortable while talking to her. I decided to have my surgery. It was just 4 days ago. I’ve been up an around only took pain meds for 2 days. An feeling back to my self again. Everything she told me was spot on. From pain management to going home the same day. I contemplated for 10 yrs. an after meeting dr Churgin I new I had the right doctor. She is very smart, an new everything I would be experiencing. An the happy ladies at the front desk make u feel so comfortable when u walk in. Heidi, Kathy, Ann an Mrs Churgin we’re wonderful about handling my procedure. From all the paperwork to even making appts for me. So I had all the testing done for Dr Churgin to go over before my surgery. She wanted to make sure my health was good before going in the hospital. She had everything in order an new everything about me. She came to my bedside before the surgery an after the surgery. I can’t say enough about Dr Churgin she is truly a wonderful surgeon an I highly recommend her. I feel like she is a close friend of mine now because she was so kind to me right up to the end. It’s been 4 days an each day Heidi from the front desk calls me an asks me how I’m feeling. An if I have any questions for Dr Churgin. When I did have a question Heidi talked to the Doctor an got back to me within minutes. Very professional office. Right up until now. I went today for my post op visit an I have one more visit for a check up. An then I’ll be done. It’s been such a pleasure having all these people in my life to get me healthy and well. I had my worries about finding a great doctor to who accepted my insurance and is trustworthy and highly talented!! My dreams came true with Dr Samara Churgin and staff!! My insurance cover the surgery for Breast Reduction and the staff and especially Kathy C and Heidi helped me from start to finish!! I’m in the best care ever and highly recommend this Double board certified surgeon who is a preferred provider!! Love them and so thankful!!

On Christmas Eve, I was bit on the face by a dog. I had a laceration on my upper lip. My fiance brought me to the ER at Huntington Hospital on Long Island. Luckily, Dr. Churgin was the on call plastic surgeon for that evening. I was terrified. I am not accident prone, and have zero experience with an injury like this. Dr. Churgin arrived at the ER, and was so calm, cool and collected. She immediately went to work on me, exuding complete confidence in what she was doing...which made me instantly trust her. She was my Angel that evening. I should mention that the weather was horrible that night, and she had to drive through terrible wind to to get there. She was cheerful, and joked about it. To put me at ease, she made netflix recommendations to us while she worked on me.. but paid attention when I asked her questions. A week later, I had a follow up with her in her Manhattan office. Her admin, Heidi was particularly kind on the phone when she made the appointment. This was so refreshing. Kindness goes a long way when you are injured.. Once in the Manhattan office, her assistant, Frank was very personable, and helped us with necessary paperwork that all Docs have to deal with. He was very kind, and patiently reviewed with us what had happened. To my surprise, Dr. Churgin was able to remove the stitches, and I am on the mend. I know I am not the easiest patient, as I don't do well with pain, and I'm a bit of a fraidy-cat. She just did her thing, and I feel better and look better every day! This lady is very skilled, and knows her stuff! I am in awe of people like this who can fix us. Thank You Dr. Churgin!

This was my first time every getting surgery. I went in for a bilateral breast reduction and immediately felt at ease with Dr. Churgin. She was funny and helpful, and was able to explain to me how everything was going to play out. I am incredibly happy with my results. Her staff was dedicated to working with my insurance and always friendly with follow up calls and in person visits. Highly suggested.

I had been to other surgeons and I always walked away feeling uneasy about their skill set or they were honest and simply admitted that they couldn’t do the surgery I wanted. My experience with Dr. Churgin was absolutely amazing. Prior to the nose surgery, she answered all my questions thoughtfully and provided a clear layout of what the surgery and post-surgery would entail. The operation itself went smoothly and my wound has been healing even better than I expected. She's easy to reach outside normal work hours and always assisted with any concerns I had at any point. From the very first phone call to her Babylon office I knew I chose right! The staff is super friendly, Dr. Churgin is down to earth and really cares about the patient and concerns. She explained every step of the procedure and the day of, surgery was a breeze! Recovery time was quick and she or a staff member would continuously check up on me the days following surgery before my scheduled appointment. Everything was smooth and thorough and I am BEYOND happy with the results. 2 months out and my scars are practically gone. I was back to normal activity within 2 weeks of the procedure. Highly highly recommend!

Dr. Churgin definitely made my recent need for stitches much less scary. Her confident, professional, and personable bedside manner helped put me at ease as did my full confidence in her abilities. Dr. Churgin, who is a dear friend of mine, was truly there for me when I called her about an injury I had just sustained. She went out of her way to make room in her busy schedule to meet me in the ER and administer the stitches. I have no doubt that Dr. Churgin treats all her patients with the utmost care. Her office staff are also very friendly and effective. I highly recommend Dr. Samara Churgin’s plastic surgery practice.

Dr. Churgin is AWESOME! Period! I ended up at her office after experiencing two terrible minor surgical procedures, two horrendous scars and two terrible encounters with surgeons. She is one of VERY FEW surgeons who is actually Board Certified on Long Island. Her staff is on point and calls when they say they will. Every appointment I had, I went straight in, never waiting in a packed waiting room. When I first met Dr. Churgin, she was extremely friendly and personable. She took the time to listen to my nightmare and explained things that my other doctors never had. For the first time I finally felt comfortable and at ease in a surgeons office. As for my surgery, I could not be happier. My last two surgeries left me with keloidic scarring and nerve damage. The surgery Dr. Churgin performed barely left a mark! I wish I found her earlier, but I’m so glad my trip down surgery road, led me to her office in the end! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER!

A month ago, I had a Breast Reduction with Dr. Churgin. She is AMAZING! From the first consultation I knew I met the right doctor. Not only is she a brilliant surgeon but she is so down to earth. I had serious medical concerns in the past with anesthesia and was worried about surgery. She went above and beyond to make sure I would be ok. She reached out to my other doctors and got the best anesthesiologist team, who she fully briefed about my issues, and assured me I would be fine. She was so thorough; she would even call me on the weekend to keep me updated! The entire staff are very friendly, professional and go above and beyond! I absolutely love them all! They even worked with my insurance company, which covered the procedure 100%. I have always had large breasts (38H) and had years of back, neck and shoulder pain. Making the decision to have this surgery was the best decision I could have ever made for myself. I am so in love with my new breasts! I feel lighter and more confident. I am having so much fun bra and bathing suit shopping, which I used to dread because nothing ever fit! THANK YOU Dr. Churgin, Mrs. Churgin, Kathy and Frank for treating me like family and for being so great!

I had a bilateral breast reduction and liposuction for the bra roll and I’m absolutely happy with the results. I’m 3 weeks post op and everything is going very well. Dr. Churgin is very observant with every post appointment and noticed things that I hadn’t. She was easy to get in contact with and very patient.

So thankful for Dr. Churgin and everyone under her staff. I recently had a FTM DI mastectomy, nipple replacement and lipo done by them, and even though the timeline seemed a little rushed within my family, the staff handled all of our concerns with what seemed like comfort and ease. They're willing to work with you with any problem you may have, all while making you feel comfortable under their care. Definitely recommend Dr. Churgin for any plastic surgery you may need.

I rarely leave reviews but I had to take the time to leave one for Dr. Churgin and her incredible staff. I was recently rear ended in a car accident and broke my nose. This changed both my appearance and how I was able to breathe. It was then quickly recommended to me that I get a procedure within 2 weeks before my broken bones started to heal. I frantically started my search to get as many opinions as possible. I felt that I should be able to have a surgeon that I researched myself, trusted and felt comfortable with despite the limitations regarding insurance. Dr. Churgin’s staff got me in for a consultation immediately. Dr. Churgin was honestly the first out of a few doctors I met to actually take the time to show me my scans, thoroughly explain my injury, answer every question and help me understand why this procedure would be beneficial for me. Despite being on a time crunch, she never made me feel rushed or pressured. She was so patient with me and confident in herself, which in turn gave me the utmost confidence in her. I really appreciated her honesty about having realistic expectations in regards to the procedure. Dr. Churgin and the whole staff went out of their way to show compassion to me at a stressful time for me and I can’t thank them enough. Frank and Cathy called me each day after my surgery to check in on me. Mrs. Churgin took time to get to know me and answer my questions no matter how “silly” they felt to ask. I can only hope someone stumbles upon this review at a time when they need reassurance and their confidence restored. Take the time to meet with Dr. Churgin because she is absolutely amazing.
