Dr. Samer Nakhle, MD

Dr. Hakhle ordered thyroid test along with WBC for 6 month visit. patient has underactive thyroid and anemia per this Dr's , ordered blood work. refused to order simple bloodwork to address anemia issue, ie , b12 , iron or folate . He was rude and nasty after I asked that we look into the problem. If you do not want to try to help fix a problem don't order the bloodwork and tell me to have a primary care handle it. We will be looking for another physician.

First of all I waited an hour and a half in the waiting room to be seen. This is a very small waiting room it was overcrowded I felt like I was at the DMV. This Dr books his patients 10 minutes apart. And that is with the PA told me later I finally got called back and the PA took me into a very small room and went over a few things on my blood work. I am being treated for hypothyroidism. Then the doctor came in and I told him I had some questions and at first when I started to ask he interrupted me and said he didn’t know anything about what I was asking him which was about another drugs interaction with levothroxine. I could tell he was already ready to leave the room and he asked me if I had any more questions and I said yes I said I have waited and looked forward to this appointment I’ve waited an hour and a half to see you and you won’t even take the time to talk to me. And he said you’ve been talking to the doctor and he pointed at the PA. And then I said she is not a doctor she’s a PA and he had his hand on the door knob and he asked again do you have anymore questions and I looked at him and I said no I don’t. So I saw him for a total of maybe two minutes he was so anxious to get out of the room I will never ever go to him again I told the PA I would pay for the best doctor in Las Vegas as opposed to going to him because he might be smart and accepts my insurance but he doesn’t know how to talk to a patient or even answer a simple question. I am so sorry I missed a day of work to be caught in that fiasco with him. he should be ashamed and embarrassed for the way he treated me and I’m sure he treats a lot of his other patients the same I doubt seriously if he had even looked at my chart to look at my blood results or the results of the sonogram on my thyroid. He probably assigned that tedious task to his PA. I have never in my entire life had an experience like this with an M.D. horrible, just horrible

By far the best Parathyroid specialist in Las Vegas! The only doctor that within 5 minutes was able to find a parathyroid adenoma with PTH elevated but still within normal. After 2 years of searching and now with severe Osteoporosis, kidney stone and abdominal issues.

I have seen Dr Nakhle for years and think he is great and competent. I have frequently left dr offices due to incompetent staff...however, these guys so competent, quick, really helpful and friendly. So often at different doctors, staff act like they are doing me a favor that I get to be seen. :) I am diabetic and not particularly sick, but really appreciate the good care and service I get here.

This is your typical 5 minute doctor - you wait for an hour and see the doctor for five minutes. He quickly checks your blood work and prescribes more pills. Do not hope to find a cause for your medical problems. And it all makes sense because he is doing it just for the money. More patients, more money and more wait time ;)

I waited 2 weeks to see Dr. Nahkle. That wasn’t the problem. I assumed he would be the final piece to a very long traveled journey—I was wrong. He’s rude and doesn’t listen to you, the patient. He suggested my symptoms weren’t associated with the medical diagnosis I’d received prior. He talks at you and not to you. Experience was very transactional. Worst experience with a physician ever.

Dr. Nakhle is good but his office is incompetent and you will always wait at least an hour and a half even if you book the first appointment of the day. They have no respect for people’s time

He has been my endocrinologist since 2013. I have since moved out of state. I still travel to Las Vegas for my appointments. His care has been nothing short of amazing. He listens to my concerns and gives me individual care. His bedside manner is always great. He's super smart and funny. I would not go anywhere else!

I have seen Dr. Nakhle for many years now. My office visits are right on time. Office staff is helpful and courteous The diagnosis I had was right on. So far I have had a positive outcome. I am on my 7th year of being his patient and am hoping for many more years.

wait times to see him are 45 plus minutes on average. Do not book appointment if you are pressed for time. Once I actually get to see him my appointments last less than 5 minutes.

First impression......well, I should have just left and found a new doctor, or docor's staff to deal with. When I first arrived to sign in they want you to put a time of arrival, I looked around and there were no clocks, so I waited til the front office girl came back and asked her what time it was....she turned and walked away from me. The lady sitting behind me in the waiting area told me what time it was. The front office girl said my first name I was not sure if there were others in the office with my common first name. I spoke up and asked if she was calling me, again she did not respond to my question. Once again another patient in the waiting area replied to me, kind of yup that's the way it works around here. Needless to say by the time I got to meet the doctor my opinion was a bit tainted by the front office girl. Well he was a doctor, knowledgeable in his profession. Then dealing with his back office staff, well I would just rather not. At this point I am looking for a new endocrinologist to help me through recovery from a thyroidectomy for cancer.

I was refered to this doctor regarding my thyroid. They won't even allow me to make an appt. unless they have my results from the doctor referring me. I said I can't even make it for 2-3 weeks in advance? They said no and were very rude. DO NOT MAKE AN APPT. with them!!!!!!!!!! All I wanted to do was set it up, thats it and I wasn't even allowed to.

I made my first appointment with this office and I couldn't keep it so I called the day before to cancel the appointment but they wanted to charge $35 because I didn't call 24 hrs ahead.... But I kept being put on hold for 15 minutes at a time and never given the chance to say anything because when they answer the phone they say thank you for calling can I put you on hold... But it's not a question they are just telling you they are going to place you on hold. I don't have the time to wait so long to cancel an appointment and when I did get through it was 20 hrs before my appointment. Just ridiculous.

I have the utmost regard for Dr. Nakhle's abilities. He is very thorough and accurate in his work and has a very congenial demeanor with his patients. I found Dr. Nakhle through the Internet and for the first time in 17 years my blood sugar is in excellent control and I am taking fewer medications. he is the first physician who introduced me to a easy and effective regimen of managing my diabetes.

It is always such a hassle getting medication from this doctor. I call and leave a message on a business day with the expectation that the office will fax over the request on the next business day. Obviously, they didn't and here I sit without any thyroid medication for the whole weekend. Considering I don't even have a thyroid, it's rather annoying. Also, one time when I was scheduled for an ultrasound, they weren't ready to do it so I had to reschedule it for a different time. The doctor never looks at his notes before he sees me, so he has to ask me about whether I did the lab work, and then he pulls it up on the computer.

Dr. Nakhle is the rudest Doctor I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. I understood that I needed a come to Jesus talk the first appointment but the 2nd appointment I had made some progress and he was still just as rude. The Doctor feels that it is okay to talk to people like they are stupid and beneath him as well as belittle the patients. Definitely a Doctor that I would recommend that you don't even bother trying to see once. He is arrogant, rude, and has no clue on how to talk to patients. After my 2nd appointment, I have canceled my third and will not see him again.

The back office supervisor CHRIS (female) is the WORST. 1 month, 5 phone calls to the office and not a single call back. Not even for prescription. They prescribed me VICTOZA (which is on a recall list since May, since it's side effect of THYROID CANCER). I asked them to prescribe a straight up appetite suppressant (even medical weight loss people can prescribe that without expensive, try $800 of bloodwork), and they said that I needed to come in to their office. I had a very elaborate lab work (blood) done. Why do they need to see me again for follow up? $75 for 5 minutes with this doctor is much more expensive than the BEST PSYCHIATRIST IN THE WORLD. Their staff, especially Chris, will not let you talk whatsoever, since she is in love with the sound of her own voice. RIDICULOUS. I am a former patient of Albany Medical Dept. Of Endocrinology, which is right up there with Mayo Clinic. AND HAVE NEVER ONCE been treated this way by any physicians. They are absolutely $MILKING$ patients.
