Dr. Samuel Patrick Sterrett, DO

Dr. Sterrett told me that the surgery I ended up having a year later (by a specialist in Atlanta, which was my only true course to treat my health issue) was "stupid, reckless, and a terrible idea." He honestly just ignored my pain and created countless pointless procedures before finally admitting he was in over his head over 9 months later. I had thousands in medical bills and worse, a year of agony before one surgery fixed everything-the surgery he told me would be the worst thing I ever did.

Choose another Urologist! Dr. Sterrett does not care about his patients. I had many issues with his staff, no calls back when promised, My chart questions not answered, simple messages I left not delivered or delivered incorrectly. I told him about all this as I was changing Urologists and all he had to say was for me to give him a good reply on a survey. I am now happy with my new Urologist.

I had prostate cancer and opted for robotic removal. I choose young Dr. Sterrett because (1) he was competent, his patients having excellent according to a ready-to-retire urologist, (2) he was well trained in his residency, and (3) he had performed this operation about 160 times, 100 in residency and 60 since entering private practice. He took whatever time was necessary to answer my many questions, and gave factual anwers, the type of answers this engineer wants. Of course, I had done my homework which greatly helps any man with prostate cancer.
