Dr. Hazra was incredible with my mom. After her first Chemo treatment she was in horrible pain. Dr. Hazra adjusted her meds and got her comfortable and able to enjoy life a little longer. I hope her 2nd treatment goes better with her advice.

Very informative and knowledgeable, well versed in cancer and it's many treatments and allowing the patient to be a part of their own care team. She explains in detail the medication and side effects as well as shows extreme concern for her patients (I have a friend also seeing her). She is a godsend to this community, even if she's only temporary.

As a long time patient (19 yrs.) I can attest to her commitment to her patients and staff. The fact that I am writing this is, to me, proof positive of her abilities as a doctor. She always has taken the time to discuss my concerns and answer my questions. Thank you Dr. Hazra !!!

dr.Hazra,does not take the time with her patients she has the worst bedside manners when she does not know what to do she just sends you on your way and gives up she will leave you sit in the room for hrs.and forget you are there i would not tell anyone to go to her

Saved my life!

Best doctor I ever had if it wasn't for her I would not be here today. She fought for me when no one else would and took me into her care when other doctors turned me away. She is the best and no matter how complicated your case she will find answers for you or find someone who can.

As a nurse, that has seen Dr.Hazra at the hospital on many a late night.....that's dedication. No doctor will be able to please all of the people all of the time, but she's a wonderful woman who I believe, does her very best.

I"ve been with Dr. Hazra almost 14 years as i was diagnosed with cml. Thanks to her i live a very normal life and she kept me hopeful during a very difficult time. I couldnt recommend anyone more caring and professional.

As wise as Dr. Hazra may be, she is truly neglectful. As a patient, I understand she has many patients, but when you have so many that you neglect some, you have to cut back, especially if you are CURING CANCER. My mother has lost valuable brain function due to the poor, almost insulting response time of Dr. Hazra. We as a family have chosen to fire her due to her neglectful nature. Dr. Hazra, you may be the best, you may have many patients, but I've only got one Mom, and I can't risk her LIFE on your schedule anymore.

There is a waiting period due to the fact Dr. Hazra takes her time with her patients. If a procedure isn't helping she will go out of her way to find another.I am pleased with the professionalism and expertise of Dr. Hazra and her caring staff.

I had the pleasure to meet Dr. Hazra almost 3 years ago, and she has been treating me for stage 4 cancer, yep, 3 years ago, and i am still here, living a normal life, thanks to her and Dr. Sprance. My 3 girl's idolize her and i can't thank her enough. It was her up-to-date knowledge on cancer and her precise treatment's and expertise that i found help me and if anyone needs a cancer doctor, she is the one.

Dr Hazra is in my opinion is one of the finest Doctors I have had the pleasure of meeting and having in charge of my care. She and her staff hold the patient in the center of a controlled and uniquely different, for each patient treatment plan that is flawlessly executed. Words cannot describe the caring these people have for the patient.

I received a diagnosis of cancer in 2002. After surgery I was in remission until 2004. I had radiation therapy and again went into remission until 2009. I was referred to another oncologist who stated that I had a year to live. My wife and I were devastated but resolved not to accept that awful prognosis. I remembered meeting Dr. Hazra many years ago and was impressed by her openness and caring attitude. I took the step of calling her office without a referral and anticipated all types of difficulties. Surprisingly, her staff, without hesitation scheduled an appointment for me and my wife to confer with the doctor.We met with the doctor accompanied by my records and original pathology reports. After an exam she reassured the two of us that, while there were no guarantees, I would probably be around for a while to enjoy all of the good things in life and our nine grandchildren. Tests were ordered and they confirmed Dr. Hazras belief that the cancer would be found in my left side and pelvis. She formulated a plan of what I term "Chemical Warfare" designed to control the spread of the cancer.As of this time she has been masterful in her directing of this continuing battle. While it remains unknown what the ultimate outcome will be, (none of us know what tomorrow brings) my wife and I are confident of Dr. Hazra's ability to champion our efforts in this campaign towards ultimate victory in this war.May God continue to bless her in all of her efforts. We feel blessed and see her as not just our oncologist but as a dear friend as well.
