Dr. LaRocca definitely broke the mold. Having worked in the medical industry for several decades he is by far the most compassionate, attentive, detail oriented surgeon I have ever met. Hence the reason he is the only spinal surgeon I trust to perform my second spinal fusion surgery due to continued deterioration my degenerative disc disease. Dr. LaRocca and his office staff focus on you as an individual patient. I have never felt rushed out of the exam room so he could move on to the next patient. He reviews radiology studies extensively especially just prior to surgery, explains the surgical procedure in detail and answers all questions. What more can I say. I suffered with back issues since my college days, but had extreme pain the past four years. I did everything possible using non-invasive methods. Chiropractic care, Acupuncture, Epidural injections, and Physical Therapy, but I hit a plateau and realized, surgery was my last option. When I first consulted with Dr. LaRocca, I was very fearful of needing and having surgery. He answered all my questions, went over all the risks. There was something about Dr. LaRocca that just made me feel very calm, and I had 100% confidence in his experience and ability. I felt safe with him and unafraid. The surgery was a success and his follow-up and concern about my progress has been excellent. Iâ??m now sleeping better. The horrible burning sensation that used to make me crazy is GONE, that alone made the surgery worthwhile. I just bought a pilates machine and will be starting that soon, and also start walking and swimming again.

I fell while I was under his care after my neck operation. Dr. LaRocca was so concerned that he came to the x-ray facility on the day he was leaving for vacation to make sure there was no further damage. I fell on Long Beach Island and sustained a C1 cervical fracture. When the ER physicians saw my MRI, they said the best place was the hospital in Hopewell. That is where we met Dr. LaRocca, who came in on a Saturday night to assess the situation. He explained the injury and I was placed in a cervical collar. Dr. LaRocca and his staff were supportive, thorough and professional. I had another health issue that complicated my treatment. I finally had to have a spinal fusion which was successful.

I don't do reviews often, but I just think people need to know when there IS a good doctor out there. He LISTENS, he CARES, he KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING! I have my life and my family back. Dr. LaRocca has changed my life forever. I am grateful to him and his staff.

Very competent! I was nervous. He spent lots of time explaining everything. I couldn't ask for a better surgeon. I heard scary things about back surgery. I can tell you this, I made it through thanks to Dr. LaRocca. He really is the best back doc in the area.

I found Dr. LaRocca by chance in looking for help with my cervical disc pain. He is the best doctor I have ever been to and his staff is fantastic. I am able to make appointments quickly and he takes as much time as is needed to go over all of my treatments, test results, and questions. I was worried because he was out of network though it would have been worth it, but my insurance ended up reimbursing me. He even called me personally after a bad bout of pain to see how I was after treatment.

Wonderful physician that finally gave me the right diagnosis. Thankfully no surgery needed. But if I did I would trust Dr. LaRocca. My sister went to him on my recommendation and she did need surgery. She has her life back and I have my sister back!

this is the best place you can go. the staff make me feel welcome and help me with all my questions and take time to explain everything in detail about my surgery. Dr. Sandro LaRocca explain what was wrong with my back and when I was ready he was happy to help me. My surgery was on Friday and I saw him before going to the OR and he spoke to my family after the surgery, he even visit me all the days I stay at the hospital to see how I was doing, my surgery went very smoothly and I am very happy with the results, thanks to this amazing people.

Fine Physician

Doctor Larocca is a skilled and caring surgeon. After a long and difficult surgery, I am pain free! I highly recommend him.

Dr LaRocca takes the time to explain (in detail) the problem and how he will go about correcting it. He stayed with me until all my questions were answered and I was satisfied. That's a wonderful trait in a doctor and it's becoming increasingly harder to find.
