Spent less than 5 minutes in the room with me, asked me questions and put the wrong answers into my medical report! He does not care at all about patient care! He is a pay for hire doctor for lawyers who work for corporations to disprove Real Injuries that a patient has! Don't trust this guy to give you a real diagnosis!

Dr. Archer and his staff are amazing!! They have been absolutely wonderful and caring to my husband. Dr. Archer helped us out, took his time with us, didn't make us feel rushed and was truly kind and caring. He exemplifies what a true doctor is all about. He cares about his patients and cares more about the health of the patient then the almighty dollar. I would highly recommend him to anyone!!! Truly a wonderful doctor!!

I have been coming here for years, and am always amazed by Dr. Archer and staff. I went recently, knowing I was bound for my fourth nasal polypectomy. Dr. Archer saved me! A new prescription “Xhance” used for three weeks and the polyps had shrank so much I wasn’t required to have surgery! Best of all, I had regained my sense of smell that had been gone for years! Always so nice, and genuinely caring. I travel two hours from Pikeville to see him because I have always been treated with the upmost care and respect, not to mention treatment! Nobody has measured up to the quality of care I have gotten at UK ENT, and I will always refer Dr. Archer to anyone.

I have chronic sinusitis and Dr Archer did surgery for a blocked sinus cavity. It has helped me tremendously. I recommend him highly.

Folks, stay away from this ENT. He DOES NOT listen to you what you have to say; instead, what this guy does is diagnose you in such a way as to bring the University of Kentucky (also not very good, in my opinion) as much money as possible. Money in UK's pocket is money in his pockets. After my surgery in the follow up appointment he asked me how things were going, and AS SOON AS I started answering his question he retorted with "I know you have lots of questions and concerns, just be patient..." and he was gone within 3 minutes. Stay away from Dr Sandford Archer.

I went to Dr. Archer because he was highly rated, but after a number of visits to his office, I do not have complete confidence in his diagnoses. I don't think he takes into account all the background info given him and has a tendency to brush off descriptions of symptoms. I would get a second opinion, if I were you.

Dr. Archer took me under his care. I no longer have allergy attacks and he made a dramatic difference in my ability to breath through my nose and not my mouth. He is the best as far as I am concerned.

After a brief assessment Dr. Archer sent me to voice therapy.This was helpful for a short time(hour to hour)but was not getting to the bottom of my problem..which was sleep apnea. After seeing another ENT I was sent for a sleep study and found severe apnea with o2 sat's of 59. Since correct diagnosis I have not had hoarseness or any episodes of asthma. I am disappointed that I was charged for the incorrect treatment.

In my profession I work with doctors all day long and Dr Archer is the best physician I have EVER came in contact with. He is extremely caring, professional and knowledgeable. My son has an very complicated ear issues and he has been right on the money everytime. He has taken both of my children's tonsils out and I have sent a number of family, friends and co-workers to him and no one has ever complained about him or his care. The overall waiting room time is less than optimal, but as soon as you get in a room he is right there. All I can say is the longer wait time is well worth it.

He is a really good doctor has awsome bedside manners. I would refer anybody too him. He is really a good ears nose throat doc....

I never felt so comfortable with a doctor before. He knew right on what was going on with me. He was caring and talked to me openly and honestly for the best solutions for my problem. He was great the day of surgery. He talked to my mom and dad and made them feel as ease. I thank God for him and so blessed that I was introduced to him. Although I will probably have to have the more invasive surgery I am prepared as long as he is by my side.thanks so much!

The man is a genius, and what's more, he cares. Performed a complicated surgery on me last year, and it worked and the condition, which was life-threatening, disappeared.
