Dr. Sanjay Ayirookuzhi Joseph, MD

He is a fantastic doctor who continues to learn more for his patients. Cutting edge medicine and always aligns with MD Anderson.

Who knows what these patients get instead of chemo. I will never be back. Mary is very rude.

Miss seeing him at the office as much. There is all new staff that are even better than the old staff I remember. The new doctor has taken me on as a patient. But Dr J has still made sure to be available to existing patients while he works to further his education. So commendable for a small town physician in a town where so many are not boarded or recertified. Although I miss his constant presence I am glad he is part of my medical care and always will be part of keeping me cancer free.

It is extremely difficult to write this but I feel it is necessary. I transferred to Dr Joseph not long after he opened his practice in West Monroe. He and his staff at the time were 2nd to none. I completely trusted that my well being was their number one priority. I recently had a follow up visit and was thoroughly disappointed. Apparently there had been a 100% staff turnover since last year. They no longer have a phlebotomist on duty after noon, which I had no prior knowledge of and since my appointment was in the afternoon was told to go to Labcorp to have it done. The results of my scan had arrived but had not been put in my file and the Oncologist (not Dr Joseph) didn't even know that I'd had one. I didn't walk out with the same feeling of being a priority or trust that I did after that first visit. I truly hope that changes.

Dr J and his staff were always so pleasant in our hard times. They comforted us and eased us into our care. The front desk is so sweet and welcoming, the nurses are so attentive, and Dr Joseph is intelligent and kind. It is not easy having a daddy diagnosed with lung cancer in his 70s and the decision to do treatment at that age is tough. We are glad we listened to dr j and did it. Daddy looks so much better and they became our onocology family.

Dr Joseph and his staff are gentle, caring, and so efficient. There is barely a wait as we go from reception area to the room to getting checked out with all our upcoming appointments scheduled before we leave. You just don't see doctors offices run this smooth. My aunt is so well taken care of and we were having to drive quite a long way to get care for her when now we can just cross the river. My aunt is always telling everybody about how well shes treated to everyone she meets and so do I. I hope this clinic is staying for the long haul in West Monroe. It's about time we get a doctor and staff like this in town for Oncology. I would have never considered care here locally if they weren't here.

Dr. Joseph and his staff are GREAT! The attend to every patient with courtesy and attentiveness to your needs. I would recommend this doctor with 5 stars if that were an option.

After our beloved Dr Leery passed away our community was left with a void for a caring oncologist till Dr Joseph moved to West Monroe. He has wonderful bedside manners, and his staff are equally sweet. Mary went out of her way to get my mom into programs to help the cost of all the treatment and Ramona is the kindest nurse and my mom loves to see her. Dr Joseph was so needed for our area. May his practice continue to do well. My mom is doing better than ever and we can't say enough to recommend Dr Joseph

I am sad to say that my oncologist is moving to Monroe Louisiana. If it was drivable, I would have made the drive. I am breast cancer free after being diagnosted stage IIII thanjks to him. I am so so so sad to see him go and wish him well. Such a fine young gentleman.

I am so happy to have Dr. Ayirookuzhi in my life. He has gone out of his way for me as a patient. He has continued my care when I had so many local doctors tell me to go to hospice. Thanks to him I am now cancer free going on 8 months. I went to MD Anderson for a second opinion. They agreed with all his recommendations. He has a calm aura about him and you can tell he genuinely cares about his patients. He makes me feel at ease and has no problem explaining everything to me. I did not get that same sense from Dr. Oomen who takes his call sometimes. She has horrible bed side manners and does not take time to listen to patients. Despite that encounter, I would still go to Baptist because Dr. Ayirookuzhi is there. He has given me hope. For a cancer patient, there is nothing greater than that. I am so happy to be 8 months free of cancer and I account that all to God's angel, who I get to call Dr. Ayirookuzhi.

I would recommend Dr A to anyone. He was one of the best doctors I have met. He took very good care of my Mother during her last few months. If there is a question in your mind about this doctor, do not hesitate to see him!

Dr. Ayirookuzhi is the best oncologist in Beaumont. I had initially gone to Texas Oncology and left after very rude treatment by the oncologist there. From there I saw Dr. Ayirookuzhi who has taken care of my lymphoma and I feel like I have my life back. I recommend him without question.

Dr Ayirookuzhi has earned my trust as a patient. He has taken excellent care of me and spent a LOT of time explaining to me my treatment options. I am now cancer free, and have to him to thank.
