Dr. Sanjiv Lakhia, DO

I have seen Dr. Lakhia several times during the past 5 years and I can say that I trust him so much with the problems I discuss with him. He is very professional, personable and explains things so well. He knows how to make me as the patient feel positive and better than before I walked in the office. The staff was very warm and friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Lakhia with any back or hip problems.

It was easy to get an appointment to see Dr Lakhia , he looked at my problem and we talked about the next steps to treatment for me , Thank you .

Finally, I have found a doctor that actually cares about his patients. Dr.Lakhia is very kind, you can tell that he truly cares, is very patient and thorough when explaining to you what he needs to do to take care of you. I wish that other doctors, no matter the field of practice that they’re in, were a lot more like him. I would highly rate all of his staff, in our Rock Hill Office, as well.

Doctor Lakhia is a great doctor, was easy to get an appointment, excellent nurse that checked me in, Dr Lakhia suggested a few options to consider, MRI appointment was made the next day and scheduled really quick, and follow up appointment was scheduled. I have been a patient for a few years now and have not been disappointed in the care, I will always see Dr Lakhia for my care

He was thorough

I have been to Dr Lahkia about 5 times now and I am very impressed with both him and Carolina neurosurgery and spine. He is very knowledgeable, very thorough and very kind. The first time I saw him when I was in so much pain, he was so empathetic to how poorly I felt. He looked at my chart and test results and explained everything in terms I could understand. After trying physical therapy, he sent me to Dr Vemuri in the same building and I received 2 injections, a few weeks apart. They have helped me so much. His office staff is very friendly and caring. His scheduler is very sweet and worked miracles to get me scheduled quickly. The surgeon, physiatrist, physical therapy and doctor for injections are all in the same building which is helpful. I am so glad I found them!

Very caring, compassionate, knowledgeable physician, who presents himself with professionalism and confidence. He took the necessary time to listen to my daughterâ??s description of her back pain and symptoms. He asked appropriate questions for clarification. Then, after a thorough hands-on examination, he patiently explained the problem with visual aids and clearly outlined the forthcoming plan of care. He has helped considerably with my daughterâ??s back problems. After visiting a number of physicians without much pain relief for over a year, my daughter is now pain free! I would highly recommend this sincere physician.

The wait was much longer than the visit with the Doctor. He recommended a lot of things to me; but did not state in the report that Workman's Comp should pay for it. "I have reached my maximum service". This is a catch all phrase to avoid doing what is right for the patient - not the institution. This was a waste!

After seeing a series of neurosurgeons and other specialists, undergoing a series of steroid shots in my spine, physical therapy, mental pain therapy and being told that my condition was untreatable, one session with Dr. Lakhia proved them wrong and got me to where I am still, now, 3 years later, completely cured of pain and severely restricted neck range of motion.
