Dr Karuppiah is an excellent Dr. He intently listens and answers all your questions in a kind and simple manner. I am extremely pleased with my surgery. There was no pain directly after the operation and I healed nicely. My legs were going numb on me before the surgery, I could not walk longer then 8 minutes. Very skilled neurosurgeon. No complication from unilateral MIS TLIF with Vivigen allograft (1 incision) to decompress nerve root from herniated disc & lumbar stenosis. Used the latest minimally invasive technique. My recovery going very well -- 1 day in hospital, no need for pain meds 1 week post-op, no more pain 2 weeks post-op.

I can't say enough about what a great doctor, Dr Karuppiah is. He did a 3 vertabrae fusion plus all the S stuff 6 screws and rods and 2 cages. I had a lot of scaring and arthritis and degenerative disc. I'm 3 months out and doing great no more leg pain. His office staff are the best in my 76 years of experience that I have seen, caring, courteous, compassionate, and best of all really knowledgeable. I would recommend Dr. Karuppiah to anyone and would go back to him if need be.
