Dr. Scott Tebbs Croft, MD

He is the best!! I wish he could be my only Doctor!!

There were at least 5 patients from around Glasgow MT that had knee replacement surgeries by Dr. Croft in the last year. They have all had to be redone since (I know this because it's a small community and there is an active lawsuit for negligence at this time). My mother had her knee replaced with him last year and recently had it redone in Billings MT. It was a night and day difference experience. Dr. Croft put all the blame on my mother for the lack of progress she was making and told her to "buck up" with the amount of pain she was experiencing. When the new surgeon removed her old hardware it basically "fell out with out much of a fight" (the new surgeon's words). The joint was so loose and completely unattached on one of the sides, it was causing her to feel unstable. She had a terrible gait and so much depression because she was convinced it was her fault. From start to finish, the experience with that surgeon and the hospital in general was a complete fail. No imaging was taken before or after surgery as is normally done and absolutely necessary. The physical therapist handouts sent home with my mom were telling her to do things she could never do post surgery such as swim and play basketball. No follow up or follow through from the surgical team to correct any of this. She is 2 weeks after this new surgery and feeling great! Little to no pain. Her gait is beginning to return to normal. And it's due to the fact that it was actually done correctly this time! Shame on Dr. Scott Croft! I cannot believe he is able to transfer to a new city and state to practice medicine after this kind of incident. There is a lot of speculation going on surrounding his reasons for so many surgeries gone wrong and the lack of pain management concern on his part. I'll leave those rumors out of this, but he is not someone I would ever send my worst enemy to.

Thirteen years ago I was involved in a serious car accident. I had a compound fracture of the left forearm that left my arm hanging by little more than skin from just below the elbow. I also suffered a severe brain trauma. The emergency room docs at John C. Lincoln were awesome but my situation was bad. I should not have survived. Dr. Croft showed up to reattach the arm and was told that he didn't need to bother, as they did not think that I would survive. He did it anyway. Good thing. I lived and typed this with a fully functional left hand. He also took care of the arm through a number of surgeries. Good guy.

In 1998, my wife's leg was severely broken in several places. She was taken to the emergency room where Dr.Scott Croft performed emergency surgery on her leg. The surgery was successful, but due to the surgery she had several complications. Over the next several years, Dr.Croft performed several surgeries to repair his mistakes. We gave him several chances he said he could fix things. Then after the statute of limitations to sue him he dropped my wife from care. I could add several other things about his behavior during this time but I think this is enough for any one to understand they should find a different Dr..
