Was on time and didn’t make me feel rushed. Made me feel comfortable when he gave me a cortisone shot. Everyone there was very pleasant. Highly recommend Dr. Mandel.

Rotor cuff surgery. 8 months of torture! Told him I couldnt put my arm behind my back. He said put your arm to where it doesnt hurt, then yanked it to my shoulder blades... refused to do MRI unless I needed more surgery? Canceled next appt. Went elsewhere got MRI needed cleanup surgery ended up redoing shoulder cuff and torn tendons in arm. Second surgery by different surgeon done right, way better recovery and after care then what I recieved from Dr Scott mandell!!! He's a hack...Dr heckle and Mr hyde... no bedside manner,doesn't listen or care how your feeling

I saw Dr. Mandell in the summer of 2018. He totally misdiagnosed my problem because he simply refused to listen to me, had me xrayed for a problem that I never had and had a preconceived notion of what was wrong. How very wrong he was! He may have been having a bad day, but I felt dismissed, talked down to and not listened to. As a result, I am now in constant pain that requires cervical spine surgery. I wish I could comment more positively, but that was not my experience.

The worst experience I ever had with a doctor. I had surgery for a torn rotator cuff with Dr. Mandel and when I visited him 3 months post op complaining of significant pain and loss of range of motion, he forced my arm over my head and said it looks fine. Meanwhile, I was screaming in pain. Got a second opinion and it was determined I had an additional tear and needed a second surgery. He spends less than 2 minutes inn each exam.

Absolutely the worst Dr I've encountered..he seems friendly enough but really is looking to operate!! Never go back!!

I never want to see this doctor again. Treated me like nobody. Did no acknowledge me as a patient, ignored my problems.
