Dr. Scott Kiev Epstein, MD

Let me begin with I am not prescribed medication from this doc. I use a homeopathic approach to pain. I have never encountered a person much less a professional that has 0 people skills. He has Zero to offer people people who suffer from Chronic pain. There are other choices if you live in Wayne County!! Look in Pike county folks there is help from REAL docs that literally do not insult there patients.

I found him easy to talk with and he was very thorough in his assessment. I was impressed at the detail and time he spent to actually listen to me and to examine me and then come to his own professional judgement. His staff was kind and patient and since I'm in my late years, that was very important to me.

Recently my husband had to go to see Scott Epstein (can't even call him a dr) for an evaluation to determine if he needs pain mgmt. This is a workers comp case, where my husband has had 4 major surgeries on his neck/spine. He's fused from C2 to T1. He is in constant pain in his arm, neck, throat, and head, and it is literally ruining his life. There is no way that anyone with a conscience could review his medical records and evaluate my husband and say he doesn't need pain management. Epstein is a cold hearted phony who will write what workers comp wants so he can continue getting paid by them. Do not trust this poor excuse of a human being, he's an insult to what doctors are supposed to be.

Very knowledgeable, concerned And thourough

This doc is awful..Every visit was different depending on his mood...Zero compassion and wrote I was non compliant and discharged me because I asked him for a lower strength and dose of same medicine I was taking...This man has issues and should not be a doctor...This discharge is now following me around when I have sought a new pain management doctor and can’t get an appointment anywhere with 100 miles.. He’s the worst I’ve seen and I’ve had 7 serious surgeries in 6 years...I plead that you not put yourself thru this if you want actual help...The absolute worst and if you decide to see him you will find out for yourself!! Shame on him and his staff for even working for this POS...

I can't even call this person a doctor. Epstein is a cold hearted businessman who cares only about money. He spends no time with patient, doesn't listen and just types on his laptop filling out his forms while giving no feedback or eye contact whatsoever. If he does speak to you, he is rude, condescending and nasty. Definitely has a God complex. He has no compassion for patients and does not consider the whole patient in his treatment. He recognizes he is the only pain management "doctor" in Wayne County and the surrounding counties so he believes it gives him license to treat his fellow human beings as trash.

Both Dr. Epstein and his entire staff were kind, courteous, compassionate, knowledgeable, and true professionals. My wife suffers from chronic back pain due to vertebral compression fractures, and also has dementia and memory loss. She hates seeing new doctors. Dr. Epstein immediately won her over, treating her kindly with good humor and dignity. We couldn't be more pleased and are so happy that we found him for her care.

Arthritis and a debilitating neuropathy. He did a test for the neuropathy at the request of my primary care physician. Following that, he upped one med and kept the other the same. I go back for advice on any changes.

Dr. Epstein always listens and comes up with solutions to problems and situations

Saw him a while ago and was not at all impressed. Better doctors out there (somewhere I hope) but probably won't find them in PA.

DR. Epstein is so caring, he listens doesn't judge. Understanding . I have been going to him. For 13 yrs. Would recommend him to anyone.He does everything to help you.

i found dr. epstein to have a god complex. it is very hard to talk to him and if you disagree he gets upset. he spends as little time with his patients as possible and as far as i am concerned should not be treating patients in pain. he is rude and no no bedside manner. i am sorry i ever stepped foot in his office.

I had a follow up appt with this doctor and again the office was spotless...the staff was very friendly and helpful...doctor can in to check me and was friendly but still a bit of bad bedside manner...I had to wait for a script and every few minutes the staff would tell me it would not be to long of a wait and it was not long at all. All in All I had a very positive visit with Doctor and his staff.

I had a good office visit with Dr. Epstein...first off the office was spotless, the girls in the office were happy friendly and very kind...I had no wait time at all and Dr. did a total exam of my problem..yes his bedside manner is a little rough but I have dealt with worse..trust me..all in all my visit was very good.

I had gone to this doctor for pain management for my lupus he had currently had me on vicodine as needed for pain I go to pick my prescription up to be told I am being discharged now I thought as needed was only when you needed it so how can they check a level if you don't take it all the time. his bed side manner sucks and all he cares about is getting paid he don't give a crap about his patients.

Do not waste your time with this dr. He is the worst Dr I've ever seen. All he wants to do is get you out of the office as fast as possible. Does not listen to you as the patient. Continues to write scripts, that are unnecessary, even when you ask to be taken off the med, he will increase the dosage. The only reason I gave 1 star is because you have to in order to fill out this review. Id give 0 (zero) stars for the whole thing. Save yourself some stress and aggravation, by finding someone else. His bedside manner is horrible!

Dr Scott K Epstein shouldn't even have a medical license. In my opinion he should be rated no stars. I was in sever pain when I went ro him for neuropathy in my feet and hands. First visit he did nothing for me. Just wrote down some notes. Second visit a month later I was in more pain and again he took down some notes and did NOTHING. Didn't even make an appointment for me to come back. Did not prescribe any medication for me at all. Well that's ok 'cause I DON'T want to go back. I found a better doctor to go to. Epstein had no compassion or sympathy for me and my pain. I'm lucky if I saw him 5 mins for each visit. And I'm lucky if he had 5 words to say to me about my condition....STAY AWAY FROM THIS ALLEGED DOCTOR!!

ive never met such a person who is as cold and calcutitive as he. my friends and medical associates also agree that he woundnot take good care of his own mother
