Dr. Scott David Pendergast, MD

Dr. Pendergast is top shelf. He is very direct and easy to understand regarding his care of patients. I am very much at ease at my appointments with him. His staff is terrific. Lavita was amazing in her compassionate care in the preliminary exam. She explained all of her findings excellently. Tamari was excellent as well.

Very friendly staff - possibly the best/most friendly/pleasant Dr office I have ever been in. Wait was not long - Dr. was no-nonsense and explained my issue, what additional symptoms to watch out for, etc. I heard him put notes in my file as I was exiting - good visit.

I think Dr. Pendergast is great. He has a wonderful caring staff.

Very good Doctor…

Excellent surgeon. Excels in his field. Highly recommended and regarded. However, he doesn't communicate as much as I would like. We relied on his PA (physician's assistant) for more detailed information.

The staff provided a pleasant experience which included prompt and extensive attention with excellent diagnostic tools as well as Dr. Pendergast's precise and informative narrative following both his study of test results and his examination of my eyes.

I am a 40 year old female who recently had a vitrectomy due to a detached retina. Dr. Pendergast & his staff , from Retina Associates are wonderful! They are very caring & helpful at answering any questions you might have. The outcome of the surgery was excellent & I would definitely recommend him!

Great doctor, but he needs to address his patients by name, either first or last. I've been going to him for over 10 years every 3 months, and I think that he has addressed me by name during my first appointment. He's very friendly and I realize that it's not the most important thing, but I notice this omission.

SEEMED IN A REAL HURRY TO GET OUT THE DOOR. I ONLY SPENT A FEW MINUTES WITH HIM, EVERYTHING ELSE DONE BY A TECH. ONLY HAD A FEW QUESTIONS TO ASK HIM ABOUT THE SURGERY I NEED AND HE TOLD ME HIS STAFF WOULD ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS AS HE HEADED OUT THE DOOR!

Dr diagnosed me with vitreous separation. The visit was fine, he seemed professional.
