I waited over 2 hours to see him and when I finally did I asked why his patients wait so long. He laughed and said if I didn’t like it I could go somewhere else. Thankfully I did. His medical assistant Rochelle that was in the room with us was a nasty little thing too.

I am still recovering so don't know how it will turn out, but I'm quite sure it will be good. But, the staff in his office clearly have instructions to not return your calls even though he has already operated on you. It says in post surgery instructions to call if you have more pain or anything unusual. I called day after day and got sent to a voice message system and no one returned my calls. I get it. They don't get paid for answering phone calls but there is something called responsibility to serve the patient. Never been treated like this ever anywhere.

I had an appointment scheduled for 3p today. After an acceptable wait a med asst called me in, weighed me and took my bp. After another wait the PA came in to check my reflexes which were good. Then the horror set in as I waited 1 hour and 45 mins to see the doctor. I chose to leave. Not one person came in to extend a courtesy to explain the delay. I stopped at the reception desk and told the receptionist to send the findings of my MRI etc. to my primary physician. She asked me if I wanted to reschedule. I said no. This is unacceptable, unprofessional and I will not recommend this office even if he came on a personal referral by my doctor.

Dr. E performed lower back surgery on me and I cannot more highly recommend him. He was very thorough prior, and after as well as doing a terrific job.

I made an appointment to see Etebar but was only allowed to see his nurse and a steno. The nurse had me scheduled for 4 tests. At return visits I still couldn't see the doctor, only the nurse. She didn't discuss the test results or show me my Xrays. She said my next step was to schedule surgery. She was arrogant and condescending. Quite unprofessional.

Dr. Etebar performed two multilevel spine surgeries on me: 2006-a 14 hour lumbar surgery for spinal stenosis and scoliosis and 2017--a seven level thoracic and lumbar surgery for stenosis and scoliosis. He was excellent. The fact that my back gave me NO trouble for 10 and a half years between surgeries is a testament in itself.

I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Etebar. I thought my spinal condition was beyond repair. Less than a year after my surgery, I'm standing straight for the first time in years (I've even grown an inch taller!), I am completely free of pain, and I'm regaining my independence and freedom after years of debilitating agony. His knowledge and manner gave me complete confidence that he would be the right doctor for me, and boy, was he ever. This wonderful man gave me back my life and my gratitude is boundless. Thank you, Dr. Etebar, and God bless you.

Poor communications with office staff. Dry long waiting times.

I saw Dr Etebar in May of 2017. I was told that they accepted my insurance and they checked it twice. Once over the phone and once in the office. I paid my $40 copay and had my visit. After being mistreated by his office manager Christine I chose a different doctor. One year later I get a bill for $644. Since they didn’t accept my insurance he’s billing me the full amount. As we all know our insurance never pays the billed amount. However, this doctor feels billing me the full amount is fair. I paid him an additional $200 which is much more than my PPO would have paid. I feel like I was scammed by a medical doctor. If you choose to go here be very careful so you don’t end up paying more than $600 for a few moments of this doctors time.

disinterested and distant. gave me nothing but bad news. had to wait months just to see his PA (or NP) and even she acted like she didn't want to be there. then 6 weeks later when I got to see the Dr. he was all doom and gloom. not that he couldn't do it but all the things that I would have o do and how tough it would be for me. i''m only 61 and in good health. just a horrible lower back. waited more than 2 hours to see his assistant and after an hour I went up front and asked if somehow they had forgotten about me and they said "no, we are just always busy on wednesdays". well heck, tell someone then before they get mad sitting alone in a small room. change the schedule so folks don't have to wait so long. it's not hard. I found another doctor and have been very happy with him. would not send an enemy to Etabar!

This doctor is completely inconsiderate . He started giving me attitude from the first minute he walked in to see me. I sat in the room for 2 hours before he came in. We then started to discuss my problems and never looked at a current MRI and X-Rays of my back and neck. I asked him about looking at these reports and he sad to me I quote If you don't like it their is the door. So I walked out. I waited 3 months for this appointment. He is Rude Nasty. Stay Away. I called my insurance company at once to tell them what occurred and if he tried to bill them NOT TO PAY HIM. I have never in my 70 yrs going to a doctor have had an experience like this one.

Rude, disorganized and long wait time in his office. Post procedure he spent more time in hospital flirting with nurses than answering my questions.

The first time I saw him he seemed concerned with my situation but upon return it was like he had never seen me

Excellent Doctor

Dr. Etebar performed back surgery on me in May 2015 and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Three of my vertebra are now screwed together (L4, L5 and S1) and 5 weeks post op I am feeling great. He is surrounded by an exceptional staff and I wouldn't consider anyone else if I had it to do all over again.

I had part of my neck fused 7 years ago. I lost the ability to swallow anything without chocking on it. I told the doctor after the surgery I was chocking on everything. I lost 100 lb. in 8 months after surgery. I have had swallow tests and when they find out it is from a failed surgery they never find anything. The doctor through me out of his office after he discovered I had started smoking again. I had only warm liquid that I could swallow carefully without chocking and smoking was my only sanity. I am still having issues with seizures and chocking . I would not recommend this Doctor. He will not back you if there is an issue. He has ruined my life. Please be careful and get a second opinion.
