After consulting other doctors about what happened in our fertility treatment with Dr a Ghadir, we found out he had brought us in for a bunch of unnecessary treatments costing us thousands of extra dollars that weren’t needed. Go elsewhere. We ended up with a beautiful baby, but I would go to a doctor you can trust

Dr. Ghadir is the best doctor ever!! Dr. Ghadir and his amazing nurses helped my husband and I through our infertility journey. This process can be scary and they were always there for us with sincere support and reassurance. I can't imagine going through this with anyone else. Dr. Ghadir is compassionate, understanding, has a great sense of humor and is a fantastic doctor!! I tell everyone I know about my positive experience with him and the entire SCRC team. We were referred to him and I am so thankful. 6 months pregnant and so excited!

My experience with Dr Shahin S Ghadir and his staff, has been one of the most wonderful experiences I could have hoped for. What stood out for me the most was, their authenticity, compassion and kindness. When my hormones were all over the place, they made me feel sane and explained exactly what was happening through the process. I am going to miss everyone, especially Raul, and Kristine, i feel like part of the family and will be making excuses to go in and visit everybody. I cant say enough how grateful I am and can recommend Shahin Ghadir and his staff 100%.

Dr. Ghadir was recommended to me by my husband's specialty doctor and I'm so glad that we chose to go to him. Going through the IVF process can be a very overwhelming and stressful experience, however, Dr. Ghadir and the staff at SCRC made us feel so comfortable every step of the way. Each visit was a 2 hour drive from where we live, but it was completely worth it. At our initial consult with Dr. Ghadir, he spent an adequate amount of time addressing our questions and concerns regarding the process. He was so personable and his optimism gave us encouragement of the possibility of getting pregnant. Typically I prefer seeing a female OBGYN, however, Dr. Ghadir has a very professional bedside manner, and I never once felt uncomfortable. On multiple occassions I received phone calls directly from Dr. Ghadir. He even called me after one of my visits to wish me a Happy Birthday when he realized what day it was. I never felt like a dollar sign, and it's baffling that anyone would say such a thing. I really felt like Dr. Ghadir and each staff member cared about us and our outcome. It was especially exciting to hear the news that we were pregnant on the first try. We are now blessed with a beautiful baby girl and I'm so thankful to Dr. Ghadir and everyone at SCRC that made this happen for my husband and I. We could never say 'thank you' enough. I would highly recommend Dr. Ghadir for anyone who is struggling with infertility.

The ability to control when we have children sometimes feels like we have no control over it, at least that is what I used to think. I decided to freeze my eggs in my late 30â??s because I did not want to watch my window to have a baby close by the month. The topic in itself was a bit uncomfortable to discuss with others and more importantly it was a very personal discussion. A close friend referred Dr. Ghadir at SCRC for freezing my eggs and it was the best experience!!! From day one, Dr. Ghadir was hands on and extremely professional, reliable and attentive throughout the process. I would also like to thank Maria (Dr. Ghadirâ??s nurse) for her nurturing touch and support. Although my time with him was short, it was a worthwhile journey and I was very happy with my results. Egg freezing stopped the sadness that I was feeling at losing my chance to have the child I had dreamed about. The sound of the clock ticking allowed me to finally have the ability to snooze. I highly recommend Dr. Ghadir for anyone who is considering freezing their eggs.

I love Dr. Ghadir because I'm currently pregnant with a little miracle he helped us create! He's very good at what he does and I'm happy we picked him, but he has the worst bedside manner. He doesn't always say the right things and he's not good at comforting you. He's very honest and straight forward which can be painful to hear at times. However, I trust him and I wasn't looking for a friend when I picked him. Besides his sweetheart of a nurse, Maria, makes up for everything he lacks in people skills. I'm thankful for what he has done for us and can't wait to meet my baby!

Dont expect any interest from this doctor to treat you like anything other than another number. On one visit he requested through his nurse that i see him the next time i went in. When I did he said "why are you here" and i said "because you asked me too!"Also he is very insensitive to how vulnerable you are in these situations and can be straight mean about things

His treatment plan for me did not make sense. He recommended a lot of testing that was unnecessary and expensive. Before I invested too much, I realized that his care plan was not individualized for me.I followed my instincts and spoke to geneticist and received a second opinion and then wound up switching doctors. He is nice but did not communicate plans effectively and his treatment suggestions did not make sense.

Still waiting on a call back from his office about blood results, and other results. Was "diagnosed" with endometriosis but still haven't heard what the next step is going to be.... o yeah I have been waiting on the phone call for 6 months now. I have called the office to ask to speak with someone but only get voice mails. Total experience was UNPROFESSIONAL...my husband agrees that he didn't even seem to care about concerns or my questions were never answered.

After 5 years of trying unsuccessfully to get pregnant under the care of 5 different local doctors, numerous drugs, 2 laparoscopies, and 5-6 IUIs (I lost count), someone referred me to SCRC. My husband and I drove almost 2 hours to meet Dr Ghadir, and after a few minutes, we knew we had found the right doctor and the right facility. Dr Ghadir is extremely knowledgeable and has an excellent bedside manner. He was realistic with us yet subtly optimistic. We underwent a round of IVF, and thankfully, we were successful on our first try and conceived twins. Throughout the entire process, Dr Ghadir made himself available to us. I remember him patiently answering all my questions (even the repeat ones) during my many visits and personally returning my after hours phone calls. And, when we lost one of the twins at 8 weeks, Dr Ghadir helped me through that very difficult time with his kind, reassuring, and encouraging words. Dr Shahin Ghadir, I believe, was an answer to our prayers. Our son is now 2 years old, and it was such a joy to take him to meet the kind doctor just a little over a year ago. Since then, we have been blessed with a lovely baby girl, who we miraculously conceived naturally. :)

I would strongly recommend Dr. Ghadir. We have been seeing him over a year and before seeing him we were with another reproductive center. As we have not achieved success yet I am optimistic that we will with the help of Dr. Ghadir and his staff. Dr. Ghadir is always available for questions and is very supportive as you go through this emotional experience. We stayed with Dr. Ghadirs practice because he is professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. If you decide to use Southern California Reproductive Center you will be in caring hands.

Dr. Ghadir is an excellent fertility doctor whose very friendly and professional demeanor put us at ease during our appointments and procedures with him. He is extremely knowledgeable, but sometimes spoke above our heads, so we'd have to ask him to explain the terminology that he was using. His clinic, SCRC, is a very well-equipped facility. However, for people who are new the the world of assisted fertility, SCRC can be a confusing experience. We went to this clinic for about 10 months, and during the first few months we felt like we were kind of lost. Artificial insemination and IVF are very complicated processes which require you to self-administer lots of medications and injections. While the staff is very knowledgeable, they often assume that you know what's going on. We constantly had to ask questions to make sure we knew exactly what to do. Also, you must be vigilant about making sure to set up your next appointment every time. Once I forgot, and the ladies at the front desk almost would not let me come in for a procedure...it would have been $7,000 down the drain!Anyway, I think that we got state-of-the-art care at SCRC, it just took a lot of questioning and vigilance on our behalf to make sure we were doing everything right. I think Dr. Ghadir is a terrific person and am very glad he was able to help us conceive our twins. I am very glad that he was our doctor.

Dr. Ghadir only cares about pumping women full of hormones in order to bring more brats into the world. Could care less about a woman's body or my concerns of side effects.

I felt like a new patient everytime I went. No one ever knew why I was there, I had to remind everyone of everything that was going on with me every time, nurses gave me the same forms and asked the same questions over and over, the doctor doesn't give out his email or number and his nurse never calls back. Also, he told me to do IVF before ever examining me or looking at my stats. He pushes IVF. I ended up leaving and getting pregnant somewhere else without IVF
