At the 1st visit, everyone in the reception office was very helpful and friendly. My 1st meeting with Dr. Das to talk about possible full shoulder replacement put me totally at ease and confident in his ability. Dr. Das explained the entire procedure and what to expect post-op. His assistant, Shanti, is a godsend ! She quickly answered my questions/emails that I had. This was my 1st time for any major surgery, and it went off perfectly. Everything just like Dr. Das had stated. Just had my 3 month follow-up, totally pain-free and well on my way to getting back to my workouts and fishing !. HIGHLY recommend the staff and Dr. Das. Dr. Das is knowledgeable, experienced, and caring. He and his staff took the time to appropriately diagnose and treat my shoulder injury. Three months after surgery, I'm golfing with full range of motion and pain free.

This was my first experience meeting with Dr. Das, for a knee injury. After looking at my X-ray and MRI, and reviewing my health history, he determined I was an appropriate candidate for arthroscopic knee surgery. He explained the outpatient process at their surgical center, what he planned to do, and the approximate length of time for rehab. His medical secretary, Shanti, was a dream to work with. After scheduling a surgery date, I realized I had a potential conflict and she was quick to offer me another date that worked. I feel very confident that I am in good hands with this surgery.

Dr Das was warm, reassuring, funny in discussing my concern. Highly recommend him!

Dr Das is a compassionate and wonderful shoulder surgeon. He operated on my right shoulder in 2016 and I’m seeing him now regarding my left shoulder. He explained in detail the x-rays of both of my shoulders side by side so I could understand the difference between them. He definitely doesn’t advocate surgery as the first step which is reassuring and he puts your mind at ease.

I ruptured my Achilles tendon on June 26th and Dr. Das was able to quickly perform the surgery on June 29th. I am 3.5 months removed since surgery and I am extremely grateful for the care I received from Dr. Das as well as the rest of the staff at Albany Bone and Joint.
