I saw a cardiologist in Shreveport for ten years and I became unhappy with the level of care I was getting from him. I spoke with several friends who are in the medical field in Nacogdoches and all recommended Dr. Uthamalingam. Dr. Utham spent almost an hour with me on my initial visit going over all the documentation I had from my other cardiologist. He took the time to review all the tests I had run and he asked pertinent questions. He answered all of my questions and made sure I understood everything we discussed. I just had my second appointment with him and we went over my cardiac issues again, some of which he said were very minor and they were not in need of care. We talked about my arrhythmias and he said I had some options - I chose the most innocuous path. I like Dr. Utham because he listens, he answers questions, he give options, and he's involved in my health. Changing cardiologist was a good decision.

Dr. Utham took his time to exam me. He was very courteous. He saw me immediately and he did the procedure for me at the hospital. He took care of me very well. I am very thankful for his care. I am feeling great. I strongly recommend everyone to this new heart doctor in town.
