Dr. Shariff Kamal Bishai, DO

Doctor Bishai is a very caring, informative doctor. He did my shoulder and I am still in therapy and doing great. He takes the time to answer questions you may have. I believe he is a great doctor. I highly recommend him.

Had a reversal shoulder surgery in May, 2023 and it was very successful. Dr. Bishai makes sure that at the time of all of the recheck appointments that everything is doing good with the original surgery. He takes time at each appointment making sure that the surgery was a success. He is a committed surgeon at best!

Dr. Bishai is fantastic! I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for an outstanding person as well as a surgeon. He has been a tremendous help throughout my entire shoulder repair !

Dr. Bishai repaired my messed up shoulder. He did a phenomenal job, I had minimal pain. Recovering well as can be expected. Dr. Bishai let me have it for not following his treatment plan, he does not parse words, he tells you the way it is. I like that, great personality! Would highly recommend him.

My friend recommended Dr Bishai and I would most definitely recommend him to others. Very friendly, staff is great and helpful. I had knee surgery, meniscus tear. Dr Bishai explained everything, surgery went great and I am walking good.

He is kind and supportive to my disabled clients. Involves them directly in treatment decisions. Really listens. Excellent Surgeon with wry sense of humor.

This doctor is the best doctor I have ever been to first shoulder surgery. If you have a problem he’s very fast at getting you in to check you out he wants to make sure everything goes right. The therapy follow-up was great. My arm is in great shape. I had a torn rotator cuff due to age I am 79 years old. The doctor did a reverse shoulder on me and it is wonderful it allows me to move the way my arm used to move. After two weeks the brace was removed and I was told to use my arm for light things . I’m a Stainglass teacher and I had no problem with my arm doing my glass work. When he told me I would be feeling great within two weeks I thought Ha he’s crazy because I had a shoulder done about 25 years ago and the recovery was a good 1214 weeks and most of that was with the brace on. I’m telling you he’s telling the truth he makes you take different antibiotics before your surgery so that you do not get any infections he’s a very good doctor he tries really hard to keep infections out of the way. I would recommend this doctor to everybody I know .

I recently saw Dr. Bishai for a shoulder issue. I was impressed by the office and staff, but as soon as the doctor came into my room... After a substantial wait time, he was short with me and SO RUDE. Then, after my "exam", I could hear him and his staff talking about myself and his other patients. The way they were speaking about these people who were coming to him in pain seeking help and answers... I realized he didn't care about me (or most of his other patients) at all. Not only was I floored with the language they found it appropriate to use, but also with the blatant disrespect this demonstrated. Every other sentence, they were loudly insulting patients and and using language that has no place in a doctor's office. My several attempts to contact the office manager have gone unanswered. Needless to say, I won't be back to see Dr. Bishai. Please find someone who respects you and wants to listen to what you have to say.

Dr. Bishai is a great doctor and was quickly able to diagnose my hip issues and schedule surgery. I had a lot of questions pre and post-op and he was patient and willing to answer all of them. I had some rehabilitation issues afterwards and made sure I got back to where I needed to be, even though it took longer than normal. Highly recommend him if you’re looking for an orthopedic doctor.

One of the best Othropedic doctors I've been to. Took the time to explain the procedures with me and answer my questions. His staff is very organized and will answer any questions I have in a timely manner. I have recommended him to family and friends.

If you want multiple failed surgeries, this is the doctor for you. If you want to be talked down to and belittled and blamed when something inevitably goes wrong, this is your guy. He's got a heck of an act and a sales pitch, but it's all smoke and mirrors. He doesn't deserve your trust or your confidence. If you value your knees and hips and shoulders, please find someone else. If you're looking for several surgeries and a drastically reduced quality of life, look no further.

He is a good salesman that's about it. His facebook page is all brag and fluff. He has a terrible bedside manner. After my surgery I still had tears, spurs and scar tissue that the second surgeon fixed when Dr. Bishai said he couldn't. Be wary of procedures he wants to do that seasoned surgeons believe to be experimental and not necessary. I am glad I didn't listen to him and sought a second opinion. I am finally better than ever but it's not due to Dr. Bishai. When I thanked the second surgeon he smiled and said "you did all the hard work". There is something to say about being humble. He knows he's good he doesn't have to brag about it. When something goes wrong Dr. Bishai will rush to blame you. I wonder if I was set up to fail so that he could do an experimental procedure on me.

If you want a good doctor he is the one.
