I would not recommend anyone to see this doctor. I would be aware when you see too many so called "good" reviews because at the end of the day, no doctor is that perfect. I think we need more laws to prevent doctors from making fake reviews on the internet. This doctor is lazy, dishonest, and this is not a recent photo of what "she" really looks like today. Any doctor can lie, but this is the worst doctor I have ever seen. I have so much proof that this doctor is a lier; it is just too bad I cannot post the proof here. Possibility it might be paying a certain medical insurance company under the table.

This person is not a patient and has been posting fake negative reviews on other sites about our business. It is unfortunate that anonymous people with negative agendas are allowed to post without transparency. The positive reviews posted about our business are from REAL patients who are transparent and share REAL experiences. Your review is anonymous and your disparaging comments untrue. You cannot even substantiate your claims. You are malicious and trying to mislead patients is sadistic behavior. Writing untrue statements about our business practices is defamation which is CRIMINAL and I will seek to hold that accountable. Our practice grows because I and my staff truly care about the patients we serve. You cannot change that and will not succeed in your hateful efforts. Patients will continue to seek care from good doctors and our doors will remain open to them.

Dr obey was the doctor who assisted in the birth of my first child. After some complications In my wife's birth she professionally handled the situation with expertise and skill. She made a life threatening situation seem like nothing, it amazes me. She saved my wife's life without a doubt. Thank you dr. Obey

Dr Obey was the Laborist on duty at Huntington Hospital when I came in with bleeding. She immediately diagnosed me with a placental abruption and quickly got my baby delivered. I have a healthy baby boy. I now know that because of the high risk condition I had my baby could have died had Dr Obey not been on top of my situation. I could have died too. Things might not have gone so well for me and my baby had there been a less experienced doctor on duty that day. I was so scared. Dr Obey explained everything to me, comforted me and assured me that she would take good care of me and my baby and that everything would be fine. I will be forever grateful to her and for her expertise. Every time I look at my healthy bouncing baby boy I am reminded of her good works and kind spirit. Thank you Dr Obey!

She is one of the best doctors that I have ever went to. She is very knowledgeable about her field.

She takes the time to explain things & make sure you understand what is being said. She knows her stuff and is very direct, so you have to have a thick skin due to her directness! I wouldn't have it any other way! My mother, sister, few of my sister's co-workers & I go to her!

I was referred to Dr Obey by a co-worker. I am pregnant and was not happy with my OB/GYN. I needed someone who would explain things to me and answer my questions. My first appt she spent at least 30 mins going over what to expect and answering my questions and easing my concern. She is extremely knowledgeable & has a great bedside manner. I feel safe in her care. I am glad my co-worker recommended her!

Dr. Obey is great! Always very informative and thorough. Very professional as well as caring. Even great at referring to other specialists. I entrust her to all my GYN needs as well as my two teen daughters. I highly recommend her to any woman who wants to feel valued and well cared for.

Dr Obey is superb! She is extremely thorough. She listens to you & tries to find the best & least invasive option to help. When she is attending to your healthcare needs you are made to feel like you're only patient and she tailor's your care to your individual problem. She does not use a cookie-cutter approach to medicine because she is just that good. That is what individualized healthcare is all about people! I understand that not every doctor is the right fit for every patient, but I've seen many doctor's in my lifetime, but not many as brilliant as her. She has a great bedside manner & has always made me feel at ease. She is extremely ethical and will always do what is in your best interest. In this day & age you can't just trust what doctors say without the demonstration of trustworthiness. Dr Obey has always done her very best for me & I trust her with my life without reservation. I travel from Kaufmann Texas which is an hour away because she is worth it. Dr Obey is simply FABULOUS!!!!!

I came across Dr. Obey 9 months ago when I first realized I was pregnant. My husband and I have absolutely loved her from day one! She knows what she is talking about and is very blunt, but that is what we love! I do not want a doctor who is scared to tell you the truth. She is a doctor who spends a lot of time with you and is happy to answer any questions that you might have. This was my first pregnancy, so I was very nervous and had a lot of questions. I never hesitated to call her if I was simply curious about something. She always called me back within the hour. She will deliver our first baby soon, and I will continue to use her in the future!! I do not know where these negative comments are coming from, but she is excellent and I will recommend her to anyone!!

Dr Renee Obey is the best doctor I have ever come across. She spends as much time as you need to answer your question and does not make feel embarrassed to ask any question. I have not had the best experience with doctors so I have to admit I was nervous at first. Dr Obey quickly made me feel at ease. She is very thorough too. I have never encountered a doctor like her. I told all of my friends and family about the care that she gives! Dr Obey is ONE OF A KIND!!!

I've been a patient of Dr. Obey for several years and therefore feel quite capable to speak on her skills, bedside manner, personality and overall profressionalism. I have had many physician encounters myself through the years. Dr Obey is exceptional. She is gifted in her field. What makes her stand out is that she truly cares. She goes above and beyond the standard of care, in my opinion, because the time she takes to thoroughly explain your healthcare to you and her knowledge of medicine (not just her knowledge of ObGyn) is extraordinary. You can tell she is very passionate about the provision of medicine which is unusual in thus day and age. Most doctors seem to care less. I am blessed God placed this gifted physician in my path after years of searching for a good doctor. These negative comments I do not believe are coming from genuine patients. They are more likey jealous competitors ( physicians) who are trying shed a negative light on young physicians great practice. This happens you know and we as patients never knew this. I am a business owner so I know negative business tactics. Because I have friends in medicine I am aware of corrupt politics that have now infiltrated corporate aspects of medicine. If a patient did post a negative comment, it was likely someone difficult to please no matter what. As I've said, I had 5 YEARS of experience with this physician and NOT ONCE has she disappointed me. I warn you to be careful what you read. Use your own judgement. If someone refers you to a doctor, not just Dr. Obey and you read negative opinion-based blogs, take it with a grain of salt until you've tried the physician for yourself. Remember, word of mouth is everything. So, if you're hearing Dr. Obey is a great doctor that's because it's true! You may miss out on competent physician who can REALLY help you and in up in the hand of an incompetent quack that nobody's talking about, good or bad. Look up malpractice claims to see if a physician is good or not, but please do not let these comments be your only decision makers.

Dr Obey is excellent! There are obviously some disturbed people in Plano that you just can't please. I actually believe that these negative comments are not coming from her patients. I have been her patient for 5 years. I am in my late 40's and have encountered many doctors in my life, but none like her. None as passionate about the provision of healthcare. None as thorough. None as knowledgeable. I have had several GYNs before and she is the MOST gentle I've ever had. She takes her time educating you about your health and explaining the plan of care. Few doctors do this. She is very outspoken about patient advocacy, so as a patient you want her as your doctor. She is not political which why she is not popular in the eyes of some. I have been het patient for 5 years and trust het with my life completely. Everyone I refer to her loves her. These negative posts about Dr Obey being psycho are IGNORANT ploys trying to deter patients from finding a GOOD, ETHICAL doctor you can trust which is what Dr Obey is. I love her. I know she is the best in the Plano community!

Never in my life have I had a doctor sit down and explain things to me. Dr. Obey went in depth on all the possibilities as to what my problem could be. She didn't just come in, ask the standard set of questions, do the tests, and then leave. She actually took the time to listen to me and was caring and gentle during the tests b/c of the amount of pain it caused me. This was the first OB/GYN that didn't get mad at me b/c the pelvic exam was painful. I am so glad that I came across Dr. Obey.
