First Impression

Dr. Hockey is outstanding and, at the same time, friendly and always willing to explain things.

Very good surgeon and very personable

The initial visit was great. Everyone was professional and helpful. The issue I have is the follow up after the visit. I do not know the status of my blood work and I was given a sample medication to try and was told if it worked then I would get a prescription. So the medication didn’t work, the blood work results have not been disclosed, and my problem still persists. I felt that with the follow up on the blood results then I would find out what the next step is to resolve the issue.

Dr. Hocker gave me excellent care when I broke my shoulder bone. He informed what to expect. I never had to wait my turn more than 10 minutes. I highly recommend Dr. Hocker.

Dr. Hocker did a total knee replacement and I couldn't be happier, he's a great surgeon and he explains things to you so you'll know what's going on, if I ever need the other one done he will do it.

Dr. Hocker took all time time necessary to explain my knee issue and covered the options to help correct this problem. I will definitely keep using him for future treatments and would highly recommend Dr. Hocker.

Very good.... No complaining

Dr. Hocker performed both my knee replacements within the past 12 months. He is exceptional in his field and concerned about his patients. Always upbeat, explains things well and answers your questions. You don't find doctors like him every day. Highly recommend him and his entire staff.

Informative and helpful

Working I went to review my options regarding an ongoing problem with my left knee. With his help, I was able to make a informed decision to have the knee replaced. Dr Hocker and the staff are working with me to schedule the procedure at a time that will be least disruptive to my very active schedule. My friends praised Dr Hocker’s knowledge and skills and now I can see why!

I have had two hip replacements by Dr. Hocket and both were excellently done. There have been no problems with either. He has very good bed side manners. I have enjoyed being his patient.

He is the best. my treatment is working

Dr Hocker is great when you have a good outcome but non responsive if there is a complication. Told that time will take care of all. We need a revision after a year by another orthopedist. The prosthetic is wrong size and loose for my leg.

I chose Doc Hocker based on reviews and word of mouth. He proved to be all that and a doughnut. He has a great personality and that knowledge and confidence in his abilities that can be reasssuring to the patient. I would indeed recommend Doc Hocker and his staff.

Dr. Hocker was recommended to me by several people. My first problem was a very painful knee. After putting up with it for a couple years and my daily walk of 2 miles was getting too painful to continue I made an appointment with Dr. Hocker. All expectations of him were even above what I had heard. He was very thorough. He explained my diagnosis of bone-on-bone knee in a manner that was easy to understand, unlike so many Dr.s I've had & that could not speak in layman"s terms . He was kind, paid attention to my questions, extremely professional and above all had wonderful " bedside manners". Just 10 weeks ago he did my 2nd operation which was on my shoulder. All has turned out great with that too. I believe God gave him the gift of intelligence and capability to guide his hands to help so many people's lives. I can now chase after my 2 beautiful grandchildren and as of last week can pick them up . All thanks to you Dr. Hocker!!!

After 20 years of military service in the US ARMY, my hips and knees were worn out. I knew surgery was my only option. Easily the most impressive Dr. I have seen in recent years.
