Dr. Sherry L Thomas, MD

I have had reoccurring urinary tract infections for years and no one seemed to be able to help me. Dr Thomas was able to cure my infection and put me on track to prevent further infections. She is truly a life saver! If you have frequent UTI's don't waste your time with other doctors. I can't say enough good things about Dr Thomas. I am a nurse so I know the difference between a good and bad physician and she is definitely one of the BEST!

Dr. Thomas is without a doubt one of the best and most thorough doctors I have had over my lifetime (I am 88 yrs old, so I know whereof I speak). She quickly and accurately diagnoses problems and has a broad knowledge of what treatments are needed. She takes time and listens carefully and I never felt she was rushed. For me, Dr. Thomas was a Godsend!!!

This is a doctor who will listen, will not rush your visit. This is a doctor who will follow up after you see her. This is a doctor who will call and get you an appointment with a specialist if she discovers something unrelated to your visit. This is the doctor who saved my life because she took the time to review my files, get appropriate tests done, and then called everyday until I was on the path to recovery. I had an intestinal infection that 7 doctors could not cure!!!! Dr. Sherry Thomas didn't give up until she teased out every reason for my pain and fever and then sent me to see a specialist. I am a new person. I owe my life to her.

Sherry Thomas, M.D., MPH is without a doubt the best doctor I have ever contacted. She is straight forward, no-nonsense, and direct with exceptional perception skills. She diagnosed and treated me in one visit -- no surgery required! Other doctors, after three attempts to solve the issue, determined surgery was the only solution. I am so thankful to have found Dr. Thomas and highly recommend her.

Shocking? Maybe. Many places advertise for laser and radio-frequency vaginal rejuvenation treatments--I went to interview several of them. What I found was, spas advertise themselves as medical facilities with a doctor on the board, but a doctor never sees you. Someone does the intake, and a nurse practitioner does the treatments. Which you don’t find out until you are actually in the treatment room, undressed. Then there are the places that advertise for vaginal rejuvenation treatments and have a doctor who performs the treatments BUT, do not specialize in women’s health conditions or disorders. What are they doing near my intimate area then? The plain truth. Dr Sherry Thomas: a urogynecologist and a female pelvic reconstructive surgeon has treated the most severe conditions in women for over 20 years. In addition to having over 20 years plus experience as a women's health specialist, she also is a freaking researcher for female pelvic disorders, and currently has multiple clinical trials under way. On top of all this, she instructs the companies that create these laser and radio-frequency devices how to make adjustments to be more effective for her patients. For me, it was a no brainer! I wanted someone with the knowledge and experience, which Dr. Thomas has, to tell me what treatment was right for me, and why. Furthermore, to know there is someone out there like Dr. Thomas, who is an expert in her field during the treatment process which takes months. Please don’t be naïve, without advanced gynecological medical training, in my opinion, things can go wrong in these treatments. Other places simply do not have the experience or the knowledge. Maybe you don't need vaginal rejuvenation, maybe you need something else. Dr. Thomas will know what that something else is. My patient experience: Dr. Thomas spent 1 ½ hours with me on my 1st visit. This office is unprofessional and rude. My 98 year old grandmother came to see Dr Thomas. She was placed in a room, told she would need several procedures and my grandmother was anxious. A staff member yelled down the hall that if she didn't want to do the procedures to tell her to "get out." She came to see Dr. Thomas but never did. Before procedure were ordered, an understanding talk with the doctor would have been appropriate. The office rescheduled appointments twice! Not a patient oriented office.

Dr. Thomas is dedicated to women’s health. She is part of the community of doctors that work toward advancing medical solutions. She is very knowledgeable and takes the time to listen to your concerns and discuss possible solutions to femal problems.

Her staff is kind and efficient as she is funny and caring and easy to talk to. Her treatment for Vaginal Rejuvination actually works! As a patient with MS I love that Dr. Thomas takes such care with all my Urologic and Gyn. issues. The staff is outstanding and caring.

I was taken into examining room and saw an assistant of some kind. I was not introduced to her. She proceeded to ask me to do things I had never experienced without explaining anything to me. I am a survivor of childhood sexual abuse so I was extremely uncomfortable with not knowing. I didn't meet the doctor until I had done different bladder requirements with the tech. Dr. Thomas came in, did a vaginal exam, and gave me an injection which was extremely painful until I could take ASO pill and it had some time to work. That was done on two occasions. I had no idea what it was for. A culture had not been done at that time. I believe she did many things that were unnecessary and overcharged me. I finally discontinued her services. I accidentally missed one apt., which made her very angry, and I was sorry but she didn't give me a chance to tell her that on the phone as she berated me until I had to hang up.
