Dr. Sheryl L Ziegler, DO

I'm been seeing Dr Z now for 5 years with stage 4 lung cancer. She has always been by my side and fighting with me. Could not ask for a better oncologist. She has kindness and compassion. She can always make me laugh. She wants to get to know me as a person and I'm not another number to her. I have recommended her to many of my friends. Over the years I learned she cares for many of the staff and their family members. Can't get a better vote of confidence than that!!

Love my oncologist!! She always takes the time to answer my questions. Remembers me and really seems to care. Can make me laugh and feel comfortable around her.

My mom was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. We choose to see Dr Ziegler due to all the positive things we heard about her from others she cares for. She really took the time to explain everything. She made all of us comfortable. When we left we all agreed that we loved her care and felt like we were in great hands

My family member was recently diagnosed with cancer. We all loved the care they received with Dr Ziegler. She has a very caring personally and really took the time to explain everything. She wanted to make sure we understood the diagnosis and treatment. She was a straight shooter. Would highly recommend!

I am sorry to say that our experience with Dr. Ziegler was not good at all. I’m suprised to see all the positive comments. My brother was very ill and her bed side manner towards him were very unprofessional and no concern was shown for him. We were given very little information about his condition. We are a very nice, easy to please family... it was a great disappointment to us in a very sad time fo our lives.

I am a patient of Dr. Ziegler's and have been ever so grateful to be. Presently, she sees me on a regular basis for ITP. I never even knew what this was until I had a trip to the ER due to low blood platelets. She is ALWAYS punctual, explains things in words that I as an individual can understand. She is always telling me that any of the questions I have are NOT stupid. She welcomes all questions. I would recommend her to anyone needing an Oncologist. She is excellent!

My father ( who is now cancer free) is a patient of Dr. Ziegler's. I have been with him through most of his appointments. I have seen up close the kind of care Dr. Ziegler provides. She comes in ready with all of the information you need. She takes time to answer your questions and makes sure you know what to expect. She has a no nonsense approach but manages to combine a little humor and you leave feeling hopeful and confident. Most importantly, she knew what she was talking about. Everything was just as she said and the treatment was just right. It is wonderful to have a Doctor with her intelligence and knowledge in the Evansville area.

She is just wonderful,very caring,talks to the patient(looks them right in the eyes).Did not make us feel rushed and took the time to answer all of our questions when my Sister and I took our 87 yr old mother in for treatment.You could not ask for a better doctor to help you thru this terrible time,or to give a more caring treatment.Thank You,Dr.Ziegler

SHE KNEW MY CONCERN ABOUT CHEMO. SHE SAID THAT ONLY A CERTAIN PERCENTAGE OF PATIENTS WITH BREAST CANCER RESPOND TO CHEMO. SHE HAD A SAMPLE OF MY TUMOR TO BE TESTED, SHE SAID THAT MAY WOMEN HAVE GONE THRU USELESS CHEMO BECAUSE THE TYPE OF CANCER THEY HAD CHEMO HAD NO AFFECT ON. SHE WAS EASY TO TALK TO AND DIRECT AND HONEST AS WELL AS UP TO DATE ON LATEST INFO ON MY CANCER.I HAD FIRST SEEN HER SEVERAL YEARS EARLIER WHEN I HAD PROBLEMS WITH ANEMIA AND SHE DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM AND TREATED IT WITH AN INFUSION AND MY BODY RESUMED MAKING RED BLOOD CELLS. AND BEING A WOMAN I THINK SHE CAN RELATE TO LOSING BOTH BREASTS AND THE IMPORTANCE OF DOING THE BEST FOR ME AND BEING INFORMED ON THE LATEST INFORMATION. GREAT DOCTOR.
