Dr. Patel is practicing medicine in non evidenced/proven ways. While there are many positive stories and successes, there are many, many that are not, and I am one of them. Until this therapy(stem cells and or PRP for the numerous conditions he treats) is proven, besides anecdotal results, in peer reviewed double blind randomized control trials, patients should be skeptical

Dr. Patel saved my life and I had the best care. I went from competing at a high level in Crossfit to being suddenly crippled by lower back pain. I went to 7 different specialists for my problems, just to be told I could not be helped. Between years of time wasted with various physicians and specialized tests I was lead to my last hope at health link medical center with Dr. Patel. My hopes for help at this point was very minimal and becoming exhausted of my efforts to alleviate my pain. I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Patel and from that moment I got my life back. He spent around 1-2 hours of full in depth assessment, studying my biomechanics and movement. He evaluated all of my images and explained fully everything he is seeing that is problematic causing me pain. He never once tried to "sell" me on a treatment, he was 100% honest, which was a first for me since my journey to pain relief started. During my Regenexx procedures Dr. Patel made me feel like I was at home and comfortable. Regenexx alleviated my pain after only 2 treatment and almost 3 years post op I am pain free and I am moving better than ever. I am back to working out and enjoying life again. I am not on any medications or treatments. Dr Patel's bedside manner and knowledge of the human body saved my life and I am forever grateful.

I've seen tons of docs for my hip and knee pains. The knee surgeon said he'd clean it out with surgery. The hip guy said hip replacement! I'm 41 years old! Heck no. The pain guy did a cortisone injection in the hip joint that didn't help. Then they just wanted to load me up on pain killers and advil. So by fate I finally find Dr. Patel and after the most thorough exam I ever got, he tells me the pain is coming from my back and only slightly from my hip and knee! He sends me to PT and I'm moving better. Then an adjustment and a Regenexx blood treatment and now it's been almost a year and I have less pain and moving better than ever before. THANK YOU DR. I came to Dr. Patel for my knee pain that other surgeons said i needed knee replacement. Dr. P connected my back to my chronic back pain from slipped discs. Which made sense because my other knee that didn't hurt was more bone on bone! I had osteopathic adjustments and a Regenex treatment for my back and knee and everythinh is feeling better! I'm telling everybody! Thank you Dr. Patel!

It was really great the thoroughness that Dr. Patel had in diagnosing and explaining my back condition. I have never had an exam like this. Communication was excellent during and even after the appointment. Only slight issue was it was a little difficult to schedule. After that it was smooth sailing.

Most thorough doctors visit!

I truly had an incredible experience here. In this day in age, we all know doctors fly in and out of our room before we've had a chance to breath. However, Dr. Patel really made the extra effort to really understand me and address my concerns. He genuinely cared for my health issues and took every step to ensure he could provide the best help possible. I was provided a multitude of treatment options and we discussed every one at length. I truly felt I was in good hands and have already experienced positive results. As far as I understand, chronic joint pains are not an easy problem to handle. This cutting edge practice (while practicing new and innovative treatment options) coupled with doctors who actually care for you will hopefully give you the same experience I had here.

Dr. Shounuck Patel was friendly, empathetic, and a great listener. He is very knowledgeable about the Regenexx procedure and PRP injections, and I appreciate that he isn't one of those doctors who jumps right to surgery or invasive procedures. He was a breath of fresh air after several bad experiences with an orthopedic surgeon!

After having neck and back pain for over a year and a half, seeing multiple doctors, physical therapists, chiropractors, and acupuncturists, I luckily fell into the hands of Dr. Patel. He was the first doctor that spent more than 20 minutes talking to me, took a deep interest in my pain and what was causing it, and helped figure out a strategy for handling it. I probably have a very prototypical case of pain, but Dr. Patel didn't treat me that way. He was compassionate, honest about what he could do for me, what I needed to do for myself, and he had a plan. I felt truly cared for (and still do, as he still checks in with me regularly). I've got to say, I was a little skeptical of getting spine injection treatments, but the thought of back surgery was daunting so I thought I'd give it a chance. I also didn't believe in steroids. We didn't end up doing any stem cell injections, but we did an epidural platelet lysate injection into my neck and PRP in my facet joints (2 months ago, I didn't know what any of those words meant). With Dr. Patel leading the charge, the entire process was easy. As he predicted, the injections broke my cycle of pain and I'm on my way recovery. I can't recommend Dr. Patel enough. He'll be a partner for you to help get you through your pain.

Dr. Patel is wonderful. He made me feel like i was his only patient for the day.. tho i knew i was one of several. He gave my case such attention and i really had a great experience. My back is feeling fantastic. I had hopes for improvement .. this is better than i even expected. He talked me thru each step of the process . Wonderful Doctor.. hoping i can go back to get more done with my knees.
