Dr. Shridharani and his staff are amazing when I went to see him I needed surgery he did my surgery in September. I was unable to do anything at that point. When I met with Dr.Shridharani he explained everything about the surgery and Barry was very compassionate and understanding about my needs. During my pre-op he came and visited made sure I was doing okay and again explained what was going to happen. His staff was amazing they visited after the surgery Dr Shridharani to visited the same day at my surgery and was very very compassionate this man has an amazing bedside manner. I would definitely recommend him to anyone that is in need of neck surgery.

Dr. Shridharani is the absolute BEST he did two surgeries on my husbands back. My husband went from being bent over and horrible pain to being able to stand straight up and no pain five stars is Not enough stars for this man. He is very explanatory when it comes to your surgery he tells you all the ins and outs and what to expect he is never in a hurry he has all the Time in the world to listen to what you have to say and then he will give you his opinion. His whole staff is wonderful caring and loving. They all take your medical needs very serious. If you have a spine problem and you need help Dr Shridharani is your GUY. IF HE CAN'T FIX YOU NO ONE CAN.

(ACDF, c6-c7) I cannot champion for Dr. Shridharani and staff at Integrity Spine Surgery enough. My experience was superior from my first assessment appointment to post-op care. I was met with concern, honesty, respect, compassion and end-to-end support. I am forever grateful that I trusted "Dr. S" with my health and quality of life decision. I am completely relieved of nerve pain, vibrational numbness and neck/shoulder pain. The entire process does take time, however the end result is utterly worth the prize of being pain free. Dr. Shridharani is a great Surgeon. I told him "I think you are a "Miracle Worker". After extensive spinal surgery on my back at L2, 3, 4, and 5, I had NO sciatica pain. I was experiencing severe sciatica pain down both hips into my feet and my spinal cord was pinched to the size of a pencil lead. After surgery the spinal cord returned to it's normal quarter size. I received excellent care from my Dr. Shridharani, and all the PA's, Nurses, and Medical Staff (James Leap, PA-C; Preston Quick, APRN; Cari B., RN, OR Nurse Liz, and all others. On my first visit he immediately spotted the issue with my spinal column that was affecting the cord. Something a prior surgeon failed to either notice or mention two years earlier and that would have eventually resulted in paralysis. His obvious competence and empathy made the required major surgery, while not what I would call enjoyable, a whole lot less stressful and scary than it could have been.

Dr. Shyam Shridharani was my colleague at the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ for a number of years, he as the Chief of Orthopedic Spine surgery and myself as the Chief of Neuroradiology. In addition, when I needed a microdiscectomy when I herniated a disc, he was the one I chose to do my surgery (the surgery went perfectly). I can not say enough about his caliber as both a surgeon and person both. He is exquisitely trained and has since increased his skills every year by his attention to detail and commitment to excellence in everything that he does. He will only operate when necessary and will carefully consider all non-surgical options first. He truly has the best interest at heart for each of his patients. In fact, after I moved to take a job at Dartmouth and I needed a 2nd surgery for a different herniated disc, I again contacted him for advice prior to my surgery. His recommendation proved to be the best option for me. If you are considering having spine surgery, do not hesitate at all to see Shyam. I would trust him again without hesitate, if I needed another surgery or anyone in my family did. As a Neuroradiologist at the University of Arizona and now at Dartmouth, I have seen some of the most difficult spine cases and I know what it takes to have the best outcomes. Shyam has the attention to detail and will deliver his best every single time.

After not getting relief from injections for my low back spondylolisthesis at L5, I got a referral to Dr. Shyam M. Shridharani. After doing some online research I made an appointment. Our first meeting went very well and I liked the way he explained everything. The second meeting (more of my questions) went even better so I scheduled a surgery date. Our third, pre-surgery, meeting went great and we were ready for surgery. The surgery date arrived and I was "out" from 7:30a to about 3:30p. When I woke up in recovery the first thing I did was wiggle my toes . . . all good. A few days in the hospital with very little pain. After a few days at home I was off the Oxycodone and only taking Tylenol . . . still with little to no pain. A week later off the Tylenol and really pain-free. Just had my 11-week follow up and all is going as planned. Still pain-free and I am taking it easy for a few more months to let the great work done by Dr. Shridharani really heal before I start getting back to my normal sports activities. I would highly recommend Dr. Shridharani and the entire staff at Abrazo Spine Institute and at Abrazo West Campus hospital. All in all a great and mostly pain-free experience with great results. When I found out I needed spine surgery we started searching online for the best reviews and found Dr. Shridharani. After our first visit we knew we had chosen the right Doctor, he was kind, informative and very confident (without being arrogant) in what the next steps would be for me. He explained everything thoroughly on what my surgery would entail and what my recovery would be like. I am now 3 months post op laminectomy/discectomy and feel great! I am walking and standing without any pain. He is a wonderful Doctor and I am very grateful to him.

I have suffered from degenerative disc disease, scoliosis and sciatica for years and have been in significant pain. My bones are "soft" from osteoporosis and surgeons in the past have simply said no, they felt that the procedure might not "take". I've been receiving treatment for the osteoporosis and decided to try one more time and was referred to Dr. Shridharani by an acquittance who spoke highly of him. Dr. Shridharani did a careful chart review, reviewed my osteoporosis scans, and took X-Rays. based upon his thorough review he believed that there was a high probability that he would be able to successfully perform the fusion, complete with rods and screws. He made sure that I understood the risks associated with the surgery and the things I would need to do to help ensure a successful outcome. The procedure went well and after two months the pain relief has been dramatic. I don't normally post reviews, but in this case, given the exceptional care i received from Dr. Shridharani and his staff am making this exception.

Dr. Shridharani is a caring & dedicated doctor. His hands are Blessed. He preformed spine surgery on me twice. This doctor saved me from being in a wheelchair. I highly recommend him for Spine Surgery.

After 10 years of misdiagnosis and severe pain, Dr Shridharani successfully completed two surgeries, one on my cervical spine and another on my lower back. BEYOND GRATEFUL!!! My husband had surgery on his neck 8 months ago. He had severe spinal cord compression and his arms and hands were weak. He was in severe pain and couldn't sleep or work. We were scared and our primary doctor referred us to him and said "He is the best there is." Dr. Shridharani performed surgery through the front of the neck and my husband is doing AMAZING! His pain & weakness are gone and we're back to traveling and bike rides. GREAT SURGEON and EXCELLENT BEDSIDE MANNER!!

Could not have had a better experience with a surgeon! He and his office crew were more than accommodating and informative. He and his surgical team ended up doing both surgeries on my neck in the same day and now I'm better than ever. Long day for them, great day for me and most appreciated! I am 6 months out. From our first meeting with the doctor we were completely at ease with his knowledge, skills and abilities. He was thorough in explaining the problem with my neck and spinal cord, what the surgery would entail and the recouperation would be. He answered questions in a clear and precise manner. His staff was professional and caring.

He is a gifted surgeon and also has a great bedside manner. I came into his office with feeling as though my arms were on fire and they were also very weak. (I had trouble lifting pots and pans and also kept falling over.) He and his team (he has a group of junior surgeons working with him) did a thorough examination and then he showed me my MRI scan. I had a severely compressed spinal cord in my neck! He explained all my options and the risks of surgery. He did an operation on my neck and now I have my life back! The pain and weakness and balance problems are gone.
