Dr. Simon Lee, MD

This was my first my visit with Dr. Lee. He was very down to earth, good hospitality. He knew exactly what was my issues, and took great care of me. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for an ankle and foot doctor.

He fused my toe more than a year ago. It seemed wrong and painful after the surgery and a year later it still does. I can't walk more than a mile anymore and I used to walk 10 miles a day. Avoid this guy.

Dr. Lee is a skilled physician and surgeon. I came to him after a year of treatments from another physician. Dr. Lee took charge and laid out a plan of care. He takes time with his patients and is welcoming and friendly. My surgery was successful and look forward to being pain free. He is quite simply a “best in class” physician. Dr Lee’s office is also extremely well managed. His PAs and Medical Coordinator are top notch. They are responsive and caring and have worked with me through some difficulties. A gifted and genuine doctor with great bed side manner. He explained everything concerning my ankle surgery in manner that a lay person like myself could understand. I have been a patient of Dr. Lee since 2007. At the time my ankle was constantly slipping out of the socket and causing me a great deal of pain. I opted to have the ankle fused and considered ankle replacement, but Dr. Lee wasn’t feeling confident about the whole process back then and steered me away from that decision. The fusion was successful and got me through five years. When the ankle became too painful Dr. Lee recommended ankle replacement. I now have both ankles replaced and fused on the sides due to what is believed to be a hyper flexibility issue with my joints. It is because of Dr. Lee that I am walking and able to do most things I like to do in life. I have been on this rugged journey with him for 12 years now and wouldn’t want to continue this journey with any other orthopedic ankle/foot physician and surgeon. He is hands down the best and his staff is so wonderful and pleasant. I actually look forward to my visits with Dr. Lee and staff and can’t praise enough.

I highly recommend Dr Lee! He and his staff provided the highest level of care. Dr Lee spent time explaining my surgical procedure. He is very patient and answered all my questions and concerns. I can’t say enough about what a great, knowledgeable, outstanding surgeon he is. After foot fusion surgery I am walking pain free. I am forever thankful.

Perfect result after left heel calcaneal screws, a plate, and scar tissue were removed. I could not be happier.

I saw Dr. Lee for an Independent Medical Evaluation and was completely unimpressed with him. Doctors are not supposed to say what they see during these, but you can at least be friendly. This guy had no interest in me being there and really couldn't care less about my ankle injury. I'd recommend seeing someone else.

Dr Lee was able to completely remove the mesh from a previous Achilles Repair. This mesh had caused me to be on an antibiotic for the past 4 years. He was able to do what was supposed to be done by my previous surgeon in Ohio! Thank You!

Dr. Lee was recommended by the orthopedic surgeon who scoped both my knees (I am a runner) as one of only 2 docs in the state he would recommend to rebuild my foot after a fall. Dr. Lee was conservative in his approach, and had me do 3 months of therapy to be sure surgery was the last resort. It was, and he did an extensive surgery. I was in a cast for months, in a boot for more months, and therapy for even more, but it turned out great! He gave me my life back again and I couldn't be more grateful. The only problem is the Rush parking lot. Impossible to park - I missed appts. because there were no spots. Go to his Westchester office if at all possible.

Dr. Lee is patient, knowledge, and understanding of my feet condition. He provided pros and cons with the surgery options discussed. I have full trust in him as my foot and ankle specialist.

Dr. Simon Lee was my miracle I was in such of for a number of years. His consultation make me feel like I was at the place with the right DR. I will highly recommend him to anyone with ankle or feet problems. I did not think my problem was correctable with all toes still attached and he assured me they would be and they are getting straighter every day and I have not seen that in years.
