Dr. Sonia Kaushik Shah-Pandya, MD

I’ve Ben going to her for many years. She is patient and kind as well as contentious. It is obvious she works very hard and always answers questions or listens to concerns.

Dr. Shah-Pandya is an excellent physician, very insighftul and caring with an excellent bedside manner and obviously genuine care for her patients.

Dr. Shah-Pandya definitely looked at my whole medical record. She spent a good amount of time, she was very patient listening to me and respectful of my own medical knowledge. I felt very comfortable with her. She also recommended an excellent ObGyn. I have been to many different primary care physicians in Richmond and she is with out a doubt the best.

She has been my doctor for years and I just love her! She listens and takes care of every question, ache and pain. I wish I did not have to move so far from her practice!

DOES NOT CARE YOU ARE JUST A NUMBER TO HER.. NO COMPASSION NOR DOES SHE HAVE TIME TO ADDRESS ANY CONCERNS THAT U HAVE. NOSE STUCK TO THE COMPUTER.

I've only seen Dr. Shah less than a dozen times but each time I felt she was rushed, her nose was in the computer and she didn't allow me to ask the questions I needed to ask. She constantly wants to refer me to someone else. I want a doctor who listens and will help get to the bottom of issues. I have finally concluded she is not the doctor for me and will be looking for another one who is more patient centered instead of "efficient" and typing the entire visit.

Sonia Shah-Panda is an excellent doctor. I've been going to her as my main doctor for more than seven years. She always takes her time with you and is very knowledgeable. She always diagnoses me correctly when I'm sick and always does my physicals too, knowing when to send me for certain tests. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Shaw does not advocate for her patients. She does not validate peer to peer consults as required by insurance companies when an approval for advanced testing is needed. This results in delayed treatment and illness to her patients. If you need a doctor to advocate for you to receive the most timely and accurate diagnoses, seek another opinion from another doctor as you will get no where with Dr. Shaw other than delayed treatment.

I can always rely on her to follow up and she takes a lot of time during my visits to better understand my concerns and questions. MyChart is very efficient. My emails and requests are always answered in a very timely manner.

She is extremely good doctor

I have been a patient for quite a few years now. She always listens,and is very empathetic. Always seems to have an opening for an appointment within a day or two of calling. I have never left feeling she didn't answer all my questions.

I'm on a boat load of meds and see a boat load of other doctors for many undefined problems and she intergrates and deals with them well

Dr Shah-Pandya clearly cares for her patients, stays engaged during discussion part of visit, does not speak above patient knowledge, pleasant to deal with, and is always prompt. I highly recommend her.

I have seen Dr. Shah three times. Words cannot describe how thorough she was or how cared for I felt. Becoming her patient was one of the wisest decisions I've ever made!

Dr. lied to me telling me she did a test when labs showed she did not. She told me a test was normal, yet when I received the copies, there was a test that was EXTREMELY ELEVATED that is a cancer / leukemia screening test! She also INSISTED she did a procedure on me at a previous visit, even though due to previous surgery, I cannot even have this procedure. Yet, she still insisted I was wrong! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR AT ALL! I have already changed physicians.

Dr. Shah is simply the best! Great bedside manner, caring and postive attitude.
