Excellent clinical skills with amazing bedside manner. Very courteous and eager to know my problems. I had seen other doctors with my vein problems, but nobody figured out ecxept Dr. Reddy.

I made an appointment at Dr. Reddy's vein clinic to learn about options for varicose veins. In the 5 minute "consultation", he told me I'd need to get support hose and have a diagnostic ultrasound before he could suggest a course of treatment (because that's how he could get insurance to cover the treatment), even though I stated I didn't have symptoms of deeper vein problems. Of course, he was able to get me into the ultrasound the next day. After the ultrasound, he glanced at the report and said I really should go to a dermatologist for treatment because he doesn't specialize in sclerotherapy (despite a website that says he does). For that "advice", I was billed for a $270 consultation and over $1300 ultrasound. I am still in disbelief that he charged me over $1500 before he "figured out" that what I needed was not what would make him enough money (i.e., he wants patients who need laser therapy which costs much more than sclerotherapy). I will be telling all my friends to stay as far away from The Fox Valley Advanced Vein Clinic and Dr. Reddy as possible.
